What You'll Do:
As a Kitchen Manager, your role will be essential in maintaining food quality and coaching the kitchen team. You'll be responsible for:
Training and coaching kitchen staff to follow proper food preparation, storage, and safety procedures
Ensuring all menu items are prepared to Beck's quality standards
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe kitchen environment
Overseeing inventory levels and communicating supply needs
Monitoring food waste and implementing procedures to reduce loss
Engaging with team members to promote a positive and efficient work environment
Assisting with scheduling and shift coverage as needed
Communicating effectively with the Store Manager about kitchen operations, challenges, and opportunities
Cross-training in front store operations to support overall team success

What you will be doing:
Responsible for the execution of the dining room and creating a great guest experience
Engaging with the Front of house staff to drive sales and selling the feature of the day.
Handling any guest complaints from the dining room or carry out areas.
Handling reservations and catering orders. Communicating these events with the kitchen and carry out manager.
Developing staff into trainers and hopefully one day managers for other locations!
Among other duties
Who we are looking for:
Has at least 2 years of restaurant management experience
College degree is preferred but not required. High school degree is sufficient if you have leadership experience!
Extremely friendly, polite and a people person who has attention to detail.
Great communication skills that will help the staff to understand daily expectations to meet various goals.
Ability to coach and develop a diverse staff and handle in the moment coaching events in a stressful environment in a professional manner.
Pre-employment Requirement:
Must consent to a background check
Must be able to obtain Servesafe Manager Certification
Must be able to obtain Basset Certification within 30 days of hire
Must be able to obtain Allergen Certification within 30 days of hire
Must have a valid driver's license and insurance
Physical Requirements:
An average work week will be 40+ hours
Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Lift, load and carry up to 40 pounds.
Work with hot and cold food items.
