Basic function:
Leads all restaurant employees to exceed the expectation of the company and guests.
Ensures the consistent planning, production, preparation and prompt delivery to great tasting food and beverage prepared and presented to the Flint Standards.
Responsible for operational efficiency and profitability or Flint relations operations.
Trains and retains new and experienced staff members and continually develops them in their technical skills, salesmanship, food safety and sanitation.
Creates an atmosphere in the restaurant that builds energy, fun, and enthusiasm.
Primary Duties:
Supervise and coordinate activities of employees during the shift.
Manage the atmosphere of the restaurant. Ensure the music, lights and temperature are at appropriate levels and the atmosphere has a positive and energetic feel.
Understand completely all policies, procedure, standard, specifications, guidelines, and training programs. Follow established Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure safety as a priority by identifying potential unsafe situations and correcting appropriately and immediately.
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
Achieve company objectives in service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations or company policies, rules and procedures.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
Provide advice and suggestions to GM and AGM as needed.
Check the quantity and quality of received products (food, beverage, supplies) during the shift.
Oversee the proper storage of product, labeling and dating of product and inventory levels during the shift.
Ensure consistency in the delivery of the entire restaurant concept.
Responds in a professional manner when faced with tough situations.
Create a motivational environment with open and effective communication.
Mentor and coach front of house team

Education and Experience:

Other:
Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds and stand for long periods of time. Must be available to work nights, weekends and/or holidays when required.

We are looking for a bar manager who has high-volume restaurant experience! Someone who can Identify spirits to purchase and creates par levels, evaluate the bar flows and optimize it for maximum efficiency, as well as train and oversee team members and overall bar operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with and help create bar training material, specs., checklists, etc.
Ensure that all bartenders are trained using the proper Company training materials, specifications, policies, and procedures.
Ensure that all training material, policies, and standards are being followed and maintained by the bar team(s).
Ensure all bar team members are 100% knowledgeable of all recipes, portions, presentations, garnishes, mixing procedures, proper ingredients, pricing, etc.
Assist with the maintenance and updating of all company bar training materials.
Interview and participate in the hiring of Bartenders and Lead Bartenders.
Ensure all Restaurants' overall drink quality meets the bar standards.
Ensure and enforce that all drink recipes, ingredients, and drink presentations meet the company specs.
Ensure all beer, liquor, cocktails, and N/A beverages are priced correctly and meet our budgeted costs.
Oversee and ensure that all recipes and mixing procedures are followed 100% during drink preparation.
Ensure service well drinks are executed with speed and accuracy.
Develop and execute new practices to ensure that guests receive their drinks in a timely manner at the proper temperature.
Create, train, and roll out new bar menus seasonally.
Oversee, develop, and enforce practices that ensure that all drink orders are prepared 100% accurate according to the guest's order.
Ensure that all bar mixers and garnishes from vendors are accepted at its highest point of freshness and that our vendors have used proper food handling practices.
Create, educate, and execute ideas, policies, and procedures to help the Company reduce pour costs while maintaining and increasing drink quality.
Ensure all portions are executed 100% to our recipes and plate specifications.
Ensure and enforce that proper drink preparation procedures are being followed to produce consistent, high-quality drinks and to help control costs.
Required
Experience with Purchasing, Storing, Sanitation, and Inventory Practices and Procedures
Experience with developing and implementing successful training policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Restaurant Safety and Sanitation
Serv-Safe Certification
Experience with Inventory Control Procedures
Experience with Cost of Goods Sold control
Outstanding skills in leadership, interpersonal communication, and staff development
Exceptional organizational skills to manage an operation with many moving parts.
Ability to drive sales and guest service initiatives by motivating team members.
Experience in Front of House operations while promoting superior service and guest hospitality.
Self-motivated, organized, and ability to problem solve.
Able to create unique over the top cocktails.
5-7 years of experience as a Bartender.
2-4 years of multi-unit experience preferred but not required

-Scheduling: Creates weekly schedule, verifies with Catering Director, and posts. Responsible for day-to-day shift coverage.
-Linen: Inventories, orders and receives linen weekly from linen company for upcoming events. Organizes and labels linen for staff usage.
Required Qualifications:
-College degree preferred
-Minimum of 2-4 years experience in catering or the food industry
-Proven successful leadership and people skills.
-Ability to read and speak English proficiently to effectively communicate with co-workers and guests. Ability to read and speak Spanish is a plus.
-Ability to calculate food/beverage quantities for each event. Keep adequate records of disposable and linen inventory for all events.
-Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Suite. Experience with CaterEase is a plus.
-Ability to apply common sense understanding and make independent decisions, based on the needs of an event and the department.
-Must maintain a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
