Maintain, erect, repair, and troubleshoot rides and attractions, following Manufacturer and Engineering specifications to ensure their safe and efficient operation Responsibilities: A ride mechanic's work is the invisible foundation of an amusement park's success, making a difference in countless ways that guests rarely notice. By performing constant visual inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex overhauls, these skilled technicians are the ultimate guardians of safety. Qualifications: Must have 1-2 years of related experience and be able to work well in team environment. Must have tools and equipment to perform required duties and skills as defined above. Possess skills and proficient knowledge in one or more trades, from the following: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automotive, and/or welding/fabricate on and small engine repair. Handle all Guest concerns including but not limited to, park information, compliments, and complaints received via phone, email, or in person. Utilize multiple strategies in order to obtain the result and provide the best Guest Recovery to the guest. Able to work with computer programs for various Six Flags programs and applications. Must be able to multi-task between multiple programs in order to resolve the task at hand. Answer guest questions and give proper guidance when necessary. Offer appropriate compensation based on the guest's concern. Promote the park with the utmost enthusiasm and pride while interacting with Guests. Ensure Guest Safety and Satisfaction in their stay at Six Flags while setting high standards of performance for all areas. Ensure that imagine, cleanliness, and courtesy standard requirements are met. Develop a positive relationship with all in-park departments. Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old.
