We are looking for a Counter Sales Representative/Sales Trainee to join our Gexpro team in Syracuse, NY!
Summary:
Employee's level and pay will be dependent on their level of experience, knowledge, and capabilities. The Counter Sales Representative is a resource for immediate service and product knowledge for our customers. Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and efficient processing of their orders. Works closely with the branch team to assist in receiving, shipping, and stocking.
What You'll Do:
* Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their purchases and processing of their orders or returns
* Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for our counter business and developing new and existing customer relationships
* Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized
* Assist with warehouse functions as needed, including receiving, shipping, stocking, and deliveries
* Stay informed and educated on product knowledge
* Assist inside sales as needed
* Inform manager of any potentially hazard or elevated situation pertaining to safety or the satisfaction of a customer
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* High School or GED - Required
* Electrical product knowledge and experience, including lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities preferred
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of electrical distribution or other electrical sales environments preferred
* Familiarity with automated order entry systems & PCs running Windows-based software preferred

Additional Requirements

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Achieve sales and revenue targets for the MR portfolio across assigned accounts and territory by effectively positioning and differentiating Bayer solutions from competitor offerings;
* Build strong relationships with radiology leaders, MR technologists, procurement, and Value Analysis Committees (VACs) to expand Bayer's MR presence to promote Bayer Radiology products/services/solutions to exceed sales goals;
* Identify key decision-makers, navigate complex buying processes across health systems and accounts, and understand the full customer dynamic to influence adoption;
