The position of Sales Associate is responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.
What You Will Be Doing:
Cold call prospective clients
Research prospective clients through diverse methods including but not limited to internet research, trade show lists, referrals, yellow pages, various professional directories, and personal investigation
Create accurate spreadsheets of prospective client data including names, titles, phone numbers, addresses, and various other information
Generate daily mailings to prospective clients using updated and accurate spreadsheets
Creatively problem-solve to improve current new business development strategies
Negotiate rates and deadlines with current and prospective clients
Educate current and prospective clients on the sales process, including TransPerfect rates, justification for turnaround time, and competitor information
Work closely with production to ensure that all projects are handled appropriately with keen attention to detail for outstanding quality

Research and develop a sound understanding of all market industries relevant to TransPerfect, including industry leaders, current events, and any other pertinent data
Perform other special projects or duties as assigned

Overview
Sell products directly to Business to Business (B2B) customers by cultivating and maintaining positive customer relationships. This includes initiating calls to customers, building rapport, recommending modifications to products and services, with the result being the promotion of customer retention, driving direct sales, and assurance of an overall superior customer service experience. Primary Responsibilities
Initiate continued penetration of portfolio into accounts, focusing on relevant products that match customer needs

2. Client Experience Management: Execute the Total Client Care sales and engagement strategy to secure 70% or higher client retention.
Effectively onboard clients, establishing clear expectations and accurate account setup (billing, online portal access, service team introductions, communication preferences, client newsletter subscriptions, etc).
Establish an appropriate cadence for Business Reviews and Renewal terms, at a minimum annually, to review staffing performance, suggest improvements, perform safety tours, showcase additional services and solutions, and solidify investment and staffing terms.
Follow up regularly with key accounts and develop unique value-added sales opportunities.
Develop and execute an Account Development Action Plan, including the expected cadence for phone, virtual, and in-person visits, for each Ideal Client to strengthen professional relationships, expand service offerings, and retain accounts.
Using a combination of multiple channels of communication (email, direct mail, social media, targeted advertising), send relevant messages and share helpful insights related to the outcomes our ideal clients desire.

Be an ambassador of CAG in and outside the workplace. Always speak positively.
10-foot rule – Escort customers rather than pointing out directions to another part of the dealership and do a proper introduction.
User proper telephone etiquette and use social media appropriately.
Take pride and care of your personal appearance.
