Our most successful Nutrition Sales Consultants are pet owners themselves who care deeply about what they feed their pets. They love talking to and establishing long-term relationships with pet parents, helping them learn how a wholesome, nutritious diet can benefit their furry family members! Key Responsibilities Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products. Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD. Establish and maintain Customer Relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers. Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management and point of sale policies. Follow JFFD policies and procedures, including those for safety, security, POS, etc. Meet personal sales quotas, and communicate insights/ideas to General Manager to help Kitchen achieve its target. Competencies and Qualifications Passionate and motivated to make a difference in the health and lives of dogs and cats Retail or consultative sales experience; pet nutrition experience a plus Skilled at assessing needs, sharing features and benefits of products, overcoming objections and wrapping up productive consults Able to help multiple customers at once Strong interpersonal skills Drive to meet and exceed goals POS and iPad skills Able to lift 50 lbs Strong time management and organizational skills Tenets of the Pack (Company Values) Live Our Mission - We believe this is more than a job.
