The Retail Car Sales Store Manager is responsible to consistently and profitably meet new vehicle sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team. Forecast sales, maintain proper inventory levels in terms of amount and vehicle types, and motivate the sales team. Hiring, training, and monitoring team member performance. They are responsible for the resolution of customer complaints and to assist in closings when necessary. Train the sales team on sales methodologies that support established sales targets. Train sales team to become subject matter experts on all vehicles and vehicle specifications/features in the inventory. Continuously monitor and adjust inventory to optimize customer choice. Finalizing Purchase, Trade-in, and Sales agreements, contracts, etc.. Local travel to retail store locations as a fill in for local management (vacation, sick leave, etc), new store setup, low performer store training, and all other management needs as designated by the Regional Director. Continuously and consistently promote the dealership, its values, and its products/services.

Qualifications:

Must be 20 years of age or older. A valid driver’s license is required. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong computer skills are a must. Multi-tasking is required. Excellent written and spoken communication. Self-motivated sales professionals with inside or outside sales experience. Previous management experience is preferred.

Sales Leadership
Produces results. Manages productive center shifts to ensure center meets and exceeds sales goals. Takes ownership and accountability for creating a positive work environment that increases productivity and reduces turnover. Motivates and trains all Associates through brand programs in sales, guest service and product knowledge. Operational Management
Ensures compliance to company standards per the Center Operations User Guide. Manages and adjusts schedules and daily tasks to meet business goals. Supports Manager in Loss Prevention company guidelines. Minimizes loss by following company Loss Prevention policies and offering excellent guest service. Ensures all areas of the Center, including storage room and desk are neat, clean, organized and operating to company standard. Follows all safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
