The Physical Therapy Assistant Provides clinical physical therapy treatments for program participants on acute, restorative and maintenance levels as needed. Follows the treatment plan as per Registered Physical Therapist assessment and documented care plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A graduate from a physical therapist assistant curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Colorado.
Minimum of one-year experience working with the frail or elderly population required.
Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
Good working knowledge of physical, psychosocial and behavioral needs of the elderly population.
Able to understand medical terminology and how it applies to physical therapy, to communicate with participants, staff, IDT and physicians, and how to prepare meaningful reports.
Ability to communicate with the participants to establish favorable attitude to motivate the participants to desired cooperation and effort in his/her rehabilitation development.
Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform physical therapy treatments and related duties as may be delegated by the physical therapist.
Communicate Participant's changes and progress per treatment plan on a regular basis to Registered Physical Therapist.
Maintain proper documentation according to state, federal PACE regulations.
Maintain proper records according to PACE policy and procedures.
Perform and record, if required, as specified by the planned treatment program, non-evaluative on-going data: Measurements of vital signs, range of motion, strength and linear increments; Types of assistive mobility devices used, and the distances covered; Results of tests and evaluations performed by the registered physical therapist.
Respond to psych-social support needs of the participant and/or the participant's family.
Communicate appropriately and effectively with all personnel and to document according to professional standards.
Keep timely records, meet regularly with the Registered Physical Therapist and attend care conferences as requested.
Participate in patient care conferences and other rehabilitation related meetings as appropriate.
Communicate with Registered Physical Therapist and IDT members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.
Participate in in-service training programs for all staff in the facility.
Instruct participant and family members and nursing staff in restorative and therapeutic maintenance programs.
Abides by regulations pertaining to PACE as established by Federal and State Agencies and the Volunteers of America Health Facilities policies.
Attends required in-services & completes assigned online modules.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) are strongly preferred
10--20+ years of progressive experience in Air Quality, Environmental Compliance, EHS Consulting, or related disciplines
In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, and local environmental regulations, including OSHA, TCEQ, NSPS, NESHAPS, and USEPA standards; familiarity with Subparts and Tank standards, operating requirements, associated reporting obligations, and other areas
Proven experience in conducting air emissions calculations and regulatory reporting
Competency in navigating regulatory resources, databases, and government compliance portals
Solid understanding of applicable environmental regulations in the context of project scopes, deliverables, and client operations
Strong foundation in math and science principles, including unit conversions, data analysis, and formula applications
Hands-on experience with two or more leading EHS/Sustainability software platforms (e.g., Cority, Enablon, Intelex, Sphera, Velocity)
Proficiency in project support and reporting tools such as ArcGIS, BEEST, TRI-ME, SQL, Oracle, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, CRM systems Zendesk and Salesforce

A Senior Water Resources Engineer with robust experience in the surface water related aspects of Water Resources and, specifically, mine water balance and dam breach studies; a B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility for registration); and 10+ plus years of relevant engineering experience.
A robust understanding of, and personal experience with, the following software packages is preferred - FLO-2D, HEC-RAS (2D), FLOW-3D, GoldSim, and HEC-HMS.
A strong ability to analyze and model complex systems then document and present the information in an organized, inclusive, and concise manner.
Work Environment:
This position will include work in both an office and field environment. Travel to domestic and international destinations will be required. Adherence to safety standards including those of Knight Piésold, MSHA, and OSHA is mandatory.

Compensation:
In accordance with Colorado state law, the following Annual compensation range is applicable for the job and Colorado location associated with this requisition: $125,000 - 150,000/year. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon compensable factors, including: experience, education, and skill level.

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer with six or more years of working experience, who wants to be a part of our office growth and culture. The successful individual will have a passion for protecting lives from fire risks in the built environment. The ideal candidate will have a fire protection engineering degree and professional experience in fire protection engineering. An engineering degree in other fields (mechanical, architectural, civil, etc.) with working experience in fire protection will also be considered.
Technical skills will include, but may not be limited to, fire and life safety code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant rated construction analysis; automatic suppression system design and analysis; fire detection, alarm and communication system design and analysis; smoke control design and special inspections; as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts.
The Denver Fire Protection Engineering department collectively has 50+ years of experience in Fire Protection Engineering across our department of six. We enjoy working together collaboratively in the office while supporting and challenging each other to deliver good engineering work that makes the world a safer place.
Requirements Include:
* Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from accredited college or university in Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Sciences. Degree in other engineering field with fire protection experience also considered.
* From six (6) or more years of experience in the fire protection engineering/consulting profession.
* PE or ability to obtain PE within 2 years. NICET level III / IV also considered.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including oral presentation skills.
* Ability to work on a highly-motivated team, think outside the box, and be proud of the work you do while having a passion for expanding your knowledge and skills.
Desired Skills and Duties:
* Possess intermediate level computer skills necessary for daily activities, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and simple graphics.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and fire protection software packages (e.g. CONTAM, FDS).
* Possess persuasive writing and technical report writing skills.
* Manage day-to-day contacts with internal and external clients utilizing experience and technology to meet expectations.
* Possess project management skills for managing internal projects as well as external client needs.
* Attend and participate in local and national professional organizations, such as SFPE and NFPA.
* Provide peer reviews of colleagues' work product.
* Have or be developing an "area of expertise" within fire protection engineering.
* Perform building and fire code analysis and code interpretations.
* Prepare performance-based designs and fire hazards analysis.
* Develop engineering judgements for code alternatives.
* Perform analysis of existing fire protection systems, as well as designing new fire protection systems including suppression systems, fire detection, alarm and mass notification systems.
* Perform research and documentation for internal and external distribution.
