Westat is seeking a Vice President, Information Security to join our Technology & Digital Solutions team, reporting directly to the CIO.
The Vice President, Information Security is tasked with the oversight and management of the organization's information security program. This role entails the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and strategies aimed at safeguarding the company's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats. The Vice President will lead a team of security professionals, conduct risk assessments and security audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Success in this position requires extensive experience in information security, strong leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This position is based at Westat's Corporate headquarters in Rockville, Maryland until November 2025 and is hybrid, requiring 3 days on-site each week. Westat will be relocating to Bethesda, Maryland in December 2025.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Strategy, Governance & Leadership**
+ Design and execute a comprehensive information security strategy.
+ Communicate security risks and strategies to senior leadership.
+ Create and maintain an annual budget for information security.
+ Work closely with business units and departments, including legal.
+ Conduct annual performance reviews and develop professional development plans.
+ Provide coaching, leadership, and professional development for staff.
**Compliance, Risk & Asset Management**
+ Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., NIST, CMMC, FISMA, ISO27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
+ Oversee compliance documentation (e.g., SSP, POA&M).
+ Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
+ Maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT and information assets.
+ Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
**Security Operations & Incident Response**
+ Develop and maintain an incident response plan and conduct drills.
+ Lead incident response efforts for detection, containment, and remediation.
+ Plan and oversee annual penetration testing activities.
+ Oversee the design and implementation of secure IT architecture.
**Security Awareness & Training**
+ Develop and deliver training programs to promote security awareness.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 10 years of information security leadership experience in a government contracting environment.
+ Demonstrated technical expertise in cloud security models, as well as in depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, CMMC, FISMA, ISO27001, FedRAMP)
+ Demonstrated leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills, this includes experience leading large departments, including mentorship and professional development of staff.
+ Experience in managing security operations, incident response, and risk management.
+ Proven ability to manage budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and oversee third-party vendors.
+ Ability to demonstrate strategic vision combined with experience developing and executing business strategy.

As a Principal Research Associate in Education Studies, you will lead capacity building activities to support educators and education agencies achieve their goals for effectively integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into policy and practice. As a leader and subject matter expert, you will engage with program directors, key members of project teams, and clients, to conceptualize initiatives, translate ideas into plans, and lead or oversee implementation. You will also have the opportunity to lead and/or participate substantively in research/evaluation projects and business development. Summary

Summary
The Site Safety Business Partner will play a vital role in driving a culture of safety excellence across all WesTech Engineering LLC projects. This position is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining site-specific safety programs as well as ensuring full compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and company regulations. Summary
WesTech is in need of a Checker who will review and check drawings, dimensions, calculations, specifications, and other engineering documents for accuracy, fit, form, function, and compliance to standard practices and procedures in laying out and preparing structural, mechanical & engineering drawings for water, wastewater & industrial equipment, and systems. Bending/stooping/walking on ladders, walkways, catwalks, (may involve heights).
Exposure to elements; cold, heat, wet, and/or dark. May be in a safety harness.
When in fabrication shop, may involve utilizing hands in and around mechanical parts.
Comply with all safety regulations.

Summary
The Mobile Solutions Sales Manager (MSSM) is responsible for securing rental contracts for mobile rental assets, supporting WesTech's growth in the industrial and municipal water treatment sectors. In this role, you will work directly with customers, collaborate with internal teams, and drive bookings and revenue targets for the Rentals & Operations business unit within WesTech.
The ideal candidate will ensure the achievement of annual rental bookings goals (approx. $15M+ per territory) and help maintain above 65% utilization of major assets in the rental fleet, all while promoting WesTech's cultural currents of safety, service, and sustainability.
Candidates for this position may be required to pass pre-employment and periodic screenings, including background checks, drug and alcohol tests, or other necessary assessments.
Some of the work you will do:
Sales Leadership: Manage the WesTech rental sales process in your assigned territory, driving bookings and asset utilization to achieve revenue goals. Support incoming leads, qualify opportunities, and coordinate with other sales teams and reps to deliver effective temporary and mobile treatment solutions.
Collaboration & Communication: Partner with proposal, engineering, and operations teams to develop process designs, pricing strategies, and accurate sales forecasts. Maintain up-to-date CRM data and ensure alignment on asset availability and logistics.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships by understanding customer needs, providing timely follow-up on proposals, and ensuring smooth handoffs to project execution teams. Represent WesTech at customer meetings, events, and trainings.
Business & Market Insight: Stay current on market trends and competitor offerings to guide strategy and pricing. Contribute to rental marketing initiatives and help identify new business opportunities.
Customer Commitment: Support customers through deployment and start-up while upholding WesTech's standard of superior service and satisfaction.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Business, or equivalent).
5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in industrial/municipal or rental markets.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
Experience managing complex sales cycles and closing recurring revenue deals.
Excellent organizational and sales skills, including the ability to rally internal support.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with CRM systems, forecasting, and territory management.
Ability to travel regionally as needed, up to 30+% of the time.
