Service Tire Truck Centers retread technician job description

Summary : Ability to produce a high quality retread by performing specific retreading tasks, as assigned. The person who takes the job must be quality and safety oriented.
This position pays $20 a hour!
No background check! Marijuana is not tested for in drug test.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned. High quality workmanship, keep supervisor informed of production problems as they occur.


General maintenance of specifically assigned equipment and area, in a safe, clean and workable manner. Training of personnel in specific area as assigned by supervisor.


Skills to be improved and developed as required. Must be team oriented and goal oriented.


Must have some mechanical ability and able to work with hand tools. Must be willing to be cross trained in all areas of production.

Bergey’s Retread Plant retreads a wide variety of commercial tires through our tire centers located in PA & NJ. We offer competitive wages, team atmosphere and full-benefit package.

The retread process is accomplished by duties including inspection of tires, analysis/repair, removal of worn tire tread, preparation of tire casing, installation of new tread, quality control and final processing.

Pay: $17 to $19 / hour based on experience
