Job Description
The Robotic Weld Programmer/Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and maintaining robotic welding systems used in the production of heavy-duty components. This role involves creating and optimizing welding programs, selecting appropriate welding parameters, and ensuring consistent weld quality in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards. You will work closely with engineers, quality control, and production teams to troubleshoot issues, improve cycle times, and support automation initiatives. Proficiency in robotic welding platforms (such as FANUC, ABB, or Yaskawa), a solid understanding of welding processes, and the ability to read blueprints and welding symbols are essential for success in this position.

Provide the technical expertise required for integration, programming, assistance, and service of robotic cells. Keep up to date on technical manuals
Keep Management informed on any open issues so they can ensure coverage on projects. Communicate with vendors and external support on problems which arise and cannot be solved internally
Be able to do basic preventative maintenance and other repairs on robot-driven equipment

Job Description
The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing heavy-duty hydraulic components such as buckets, breakers, shears, and other attachments used in construction and industrial machinery. This role requires proficiency in welding techniques, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. You will work closely with engineers and fabricators to ensure all welds meet structural integrity and safety standards. Duties & Responsibilities
Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Ignite torches or start power supplies and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being
welded, completing electrical circuits.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required
configurations and positions for welding.
Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes
such as GMAW, SMAW, FCAW.
Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping,
shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to
ensure conformance with specifications.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as
shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges,
combination squares, calipers, and rulers.

Job Purpose
Welds new and repaired parts of various types of steel.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate all welding and cutting equipment to include MIG and TIG welding operations in a manufacturing environment.
* Be able to obtain 3 Raven MIG welding certificate to conform to ASME B31.3.
