Prepare vehicles for paint by functions such as sanding, light body work, taping, and chemically washing items to achieve a quality painting surface.
Responsibilities:
Occasionally perform body work of repairing holes, major dents and other general body work functions.
Buffing and polishing to obtain an acceptable quality of the finished product.
* Seal all seams and prepare all products properly.
* Wipe down all areas to be painted with a degreaser and solvent.
* Grinding all welds and filling with body filler.
* Mask off edges and areas where paint is not required.
* Fill any dents and gouges in metal.
* Air file, mix sand, and apply body fillers to finished surface.
* Use of double action sander.
* Apply caulking to proper areas.

Role Summary:
The role of the Painter I will primarily responsible for the application of a wide range of industrial liquid coatings. In this role you will apply coat in various metal fabrication as well as in plastic parts and perform surface preparation to parts prior to the actual painting and loading/unloading paint conveyor lines.
Job Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces to be coated by sanding, buffing, chemical wipe or water wash.
Applying primer, intermediate, top coat and sealers to paint surfaces to ensure proper adhesion to parts being coated.
Mixing paints properly, reading and understanding PDS for coatings and SOW for parts to be painted.
Mask and protect areas of parts not to be coated.
Inspects painted parts for quality and workmanship to be sure no runs, sags, or drips on parts, and areas that should not be coated are correct.
Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using spray guns
Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
Reviewing and implementing work orders and assignments
Efficiently use and maintain paint material inventory
Consistently utilize all required safety equipment, properly dispose of hazardous waste
Operates all required equipment to perform necessary repairs in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and applicable local, state and federal regulations
Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in accordance with company policies
Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
Position Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in wet painting operations. Preferable working in industrial or automotive environment.
Good color vision and aesthetic instincts
Quality conscious and detail-oriented
Familiarity with painting tools and materials
Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
Collaboration and teamwork

We are currently seeking to fill Paint positions.
3rd Shift - Full Time
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Manually prepares work surfaces. Uses standard work to mix, spray and decal work surfaces with protective material. Operates shop machinery, hand tools, portable powered hand tools, and other equipment needed for preparation, painting and movement of parts
Basic Qualifications:
Good Communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Previous paint application experience
Ability to perform simple computer operations
Previous experience in manufacturing or paint environment
Physical Demands:
Must be physically mobile with ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach and climb
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 35 lbs minimally, up to 20 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
Must be able to see, hear and speak
Additional Information:
3rd Shift (11:00 pm to 7:30 am)
Full-Time position with benefits
Starting pay is $18.44 hr. (3rd shift will receive an additional $1.00 hr for working an off shift)
Ability to work overtime as needed

Summary Pay Range:
$18.45 - $25.92

Job Description
Sign on Bonus: $1,000.00 paid across first 90 days : $250 after 30 days, $250 after 60 days, $500.00 after 90 day.
The Painter is responsible for painting, plastering, and wallpapering public areas to ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment.
Responsibilities
Maintains (paint, wallpaper, plaster, etc.) all public areas and guest rooms on an on-going basis.
Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
Clean all work areas after completing job.
Fill out Daily Work form.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have 1 year of previous experience as a commercial painter.
Must have flexible availability.
Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, plaster and other painting materials.
Attention to detail is important.
