As a Operations Specialist in the REVA Operations Center (ROC), you will be an integral part of our front-line team, dedicated to ensuring patients and their families receive the highest level of medical care while facilitating a seamless transport experience. Your primary focus will be managing private pay requests from the initial inquiry to the completion of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly and follow up on private pay and corporate inquiries in accordance with REVA standards and guidelines.
• Initiate Verification of Benefits (VOB) and collaborate with RCM to manage patient financial responsibility.

Preflight Responsibilities:

Transport responsibilities:
Performs and documents a complete head to toe assessment of the patient
Assist the medical crew in obtaining appropriate documentation from the patient and passengers, i.e., passports, visas, and/or documentation of medical events and interventions
Safeguards all medical records, x-rays and other medical documentation as per HIPPA regulations
Assist the medical crew in obtaining signatures on consent forms
Assist the medical crew in safe transport from facility to aircraft
Assures delivery of minimum standard of care (see: Minimum Standard Patient Care Requirements) bedside to bedside
Maintains constant communication with medical team, pilots, Operations Center, and Medical Coordinators. Works collaboratively to coordinate the patient care delivery given
Assures adherence to Universal Precautions

Post-Flight Responsibilities:
Completes medical records documentation upon release of patient to receiving facility

Co-signs controlled substance forms and log
Completes occurrence reports when indicated to assist in the CQI program
Completes debriefing, including completion and signature on debrief form, with entire transport team
General Responsibilities:
Attends general staff meetings and educational programs as per the medical departments programs
Complies with Dress Code
Provides a monthly availability schedule
Notifies Director of Clinical Operations if unable to be on call on predetermined days

Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $390,000.
