Luxottica Employee Review

I wanto to hear you vent, really.

January 23, 2015 on Reddit

I wanto to hear you vent, really. Listening to someone in their respective businesses let it all out is my favorite kind of buttery popcorn.

Yeah? LensCrafters is the biggest pile of *** ever. It's so transparent that it seems like people are willing getting ***. You can ask a million questions of their sales associates and you'll just get back this grimey pseudo-information-buzzword swirl. They hire people to sell you something quick and get you out the door. Any costumer service they provide is a pure fluke. To make things worse, they don't actually save you money. And their money back guarantee? They do so much volume, they'd rather give you back your money and send on your way than actually figure out what's wrong. The managers are there to boost sales, not to ensure quality. Luxottica is another mammoth piece of *** cancer. What ratchet person wants a brand name or a logo on the side of their glasses? I mean, they claim to be a high-end line, but high-end people don't buy their ***. The truth is, they found a hole in the market where people mistake a name for quality. Your *** is juuuust okay, but def not high-end by any means. I think the worst thing in my life is having to listen to a fifty year old lux rep make excuses for your *** practices and lies. It's embarrassing. Insurances! They hardly ever add up to real savings. And when people do save, it's because they are being limited to certain products or services. It's like having a meal card at a cafeteria, but you can only get ***-sandwiches. *** insurance plans. They are a needless hassle. "Opticians"... Oh man. I hate people that just do this as a job. Admittedly, I started off this way, but I have a sense of wonder that allowed me to excel in this industry. I learned the history and the science. I'm still learning. I meet people that have been in the optical industry for twenty years and they don't know ***. Why are you even allowed to sell glasses? I mean, it's technically a medical product, so why are you allowed to make *** up on the spot and sell something that you truly have no knowledge of? Can you imagine if people in a pharmacy position *** the way opticians do? Custimer-"Sir, what are the potential side effects of this medication?" Pharmacist-"uhhhh it might give you finger *** and alopecia" There'd be lawsuits like crazy if CVS staff just made *** up, so why are LensCrafters' employees allowed to do it? End vent. Edit: added stuff and tidied up a bit.
