This role is an Onsite Role: This role requires full-time presence at our Oxford, NC office. Position Overview: At Revlon's largest manufacturing facility based in Oxford, NC, your contributions will directly influence our success and enhance our customers' satisfaction. A line operator sets-up, runs, maintains and monitors the operation of the manufacturing line to ensure production goals and quality control measures are met. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of equipment in accordance with established Revlon company practices and policies. Major Duties: Preparing machines and production areas before each shift. Operating and adjusting machinery as needed throughout the production process. Conducting regular maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment. Reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities in the production process. Setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery and production lines. Monitoring equipment for functionality, performing adjustments, and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. Ensuring that all safety protocols and operational procedures are followed. Maintaining accurate records of production quantities, and times, equipment status, and issues encountered. Operate equipment in accordance with Safety, Quality, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Standard Work Guidelines. Ensure_” 5S” _ standards are achieved. Obtain batch from Managers or designee. Ensure clean & sanitization date with expiry. Bill of material verification to bulk and components on the line (line clearance). Ensure batch code of bulk and code on primary unit match. Ensure that detection devices are working properly and document. Review RPPS and ensure adherence. Complete Self Audit Report - (Temps,Torques,Weights, etc.) Performs repetitive detailed sample collections. Conduct in-process quality checks; take necessary actions for non-compliance. Create barcode label and yield tags. Pull Beginning, Middle, and End samples according to barcode label. Perform Crane Hoist and Sling Inspection-Document. Perform material handling duties as required on the Operations sheet. Inform Manager of Safety, Quality or personnel issues. Inform Mechanic if any adjustments need to be made to conform to Quality or Safety standards. Start and Stop process. Complete scrap sheet at end of run. Knowledge of Safety and GMP/Housekeeping requirements. The training of, and ongoing communication with, line personnel in culling rejects from quality pieces. Assist with the training of new employees in duties and responsibilities of their position. Perform minor repairs and minor adjustments to machinery to maximize up time. Knowledge & Skills Required: Basic knowledge of hand tool usage (screwdriver, wrench, pliers, allen wrench, etc.). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently. Able to follow written and verbal processes appropriately. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong attention to details. Ability to write legibly. Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours a day as well as climb a ladder and/or steps. Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs. Able to push and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and maneuver bulk drums weighing up to 400 lbs. Basic computer skills (ex: email, data entry, etc.). Shift hours: 1st Shift (7:00am-3:30pm) | 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) | 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am) #LI-KM1 #LI-Onsite The base pay range for this position is $18.00/ hour with a $1.10 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Schedule & Shift Information: (7:00 pm - 7:00 am - rotating days) Overview/Position Responsibilities: This position works in the creation and packaging of mascara and is responsible for keeping production and processing activities running efficiently and safely within the established quality and production standards, through maintenance of machinery. What We Are Looking For: * Minimum 1 year experience and knowledge of specific production/processing areas, machinery, and product items is required. * Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds. * Capable doing repeated bending, lifting and standing for long hours. * Able to work off shifts, including overtime. * High School education or GED equivalency preferred. Full : Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below listing: * Total operation of manual, semiautomatic and automatic packaging lines and presses including quality control, material procurement, line set up and adjustment of product within specifications, light preventative maintenance and communications as required to operate the line. * Ability to coordinate "changeovers" in production and request assistance from Line Mechanics in "changeover" process. * When required, trains and assists Packaging employees, observes work being performed to ensure that proper procedures are followed, cosigns pertinent records and maintains a smooth flow of production in the work area. * Assists in operation of the department with particular care toward GMP's sanitization, quality control, safety, housekeeping, production control and L'Oréal operating procedures. * May be required to attend training programs necessary to maintain the high standard of L'Oréal employees, whether in house or off the premises. * Continual cooperation with management in the development and implementation of processes for improvement: e.g. quality, line and plant efficiency, housekeeping, etc. * The changeover of a line, including sanitization of parts, to establish GMPs. * Responsible for movement, documentation and supply of incoming components and bulk to the packaging lines and finished product and materials from the lines to the staging area. * Responsible for all production and inventory controls including; ordering the next scheduled job, recording of inventory, personnel, production and inventory close‑out transactions. * The ongoing upkeep of the line including housekeeping. * Informs supervision of irregularities. * Performs all other work relative to Packaging as directed. Physical Requirements * Must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds. * Must be capable of repeated bending, lifting and standing for long hours. * Must communicate effectively in the English language (written and verbal). * Must wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
