Job Summary: The Delivery Driver position is responsible to execute the distribution of our meals and snacks to local schools. They fulfill all orders assigned and will accurately count items on their truck. The primary objective is to timely delivery of quality products while operating a delivery truck on the open roadway. The driver is critical to the customer service process for Revolution Foods. Required to have a valid state issued Driver's license and a good driving record.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Verifies the daily delivery plan, and route(s) to make deliveries. Maintains a high level of professional uniform standards and personal hygiene. Responsible to maintain proper levels of fuel and executes daily truck checks. Inspect fruits and snacks for quality and bring issues to the attention of the Operations manager.
• Works closely with Dispatch to verify daily delivery plan, route(s) for make deliveries, potential road work that could delay or cause re-routing. Confirms customer orders against product deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality product.
• Engages with school and other representatives when making deliveries, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and communication. Maintains a positive disposition, conduct and present themselves in a respectful and polite manner at all times.
• Conducts vehicle pre-check inspections before departing to deliver goods. Spot checks product upon delivery and unloading to ensure product quality. Exercises good judgement and operational control of a company vehicle.
• May pack and load products on to trucks, according to company specifications, and unload truck to meet customer / school program needs.
• Adheres to proper food handling requirements and temperature checks of chilled products such as milk, dairy, vegetables, etc.
• Maintains regular communication with the route dispatcher and informs them of traffic and other conditions that may impact timely deliveries.
• Manages the packing slips and delivery process, having customers sign for receipt of deliveries, noting any rejections or shorted products.
• Follows company protocol when questions or concerns are raised by customers. They are encouraged to be problem solvers and promote Revolution Foods Core values and mission.
• Follows safe working practices operating the vehicle, obeying speed limits, loading and unloading. May use pallet jacks, dock plates, wheel chalks, track mileage, straps, handle pallets and plastic wrap.
• Keeps the truck interior and exterior organized, clean and sanitary throughout. Ensure proper care of equipment used to move or secure product inventory.
• Follows all required safe work and food safety practices. This includes vehicle safety precautions and wearing required PPE in designated areas. Corrects and/or reports any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
• Identifies and reports vehicle mechanical issues that may occur. Supports preventive maintenance on trucks and equipment. Immediately reports any accident or property damage that may occur.
• May assist kitchen staff with preparation and pack-out tasks as needed. Completes a variety of routine admin tasks associated with the work.
• Performs other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Delivery Driver
• A valid Class C Driver's License
• A clean driving record
• Ability to pass a company driving test, background check and drug test

• Able to work an early morning flexible schedule and cover varied shifts
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude and image
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who will be responsible for common routines. Goal-driven with the ability to multi-task

Working Conditions: Work is within a factory setting, with chilled temperatures, and occasionally work is required within the freezer area. Routinely exposed to wet, damp and cold conditions. All PPE is provided.

• Routinely required to stand, walk, bend, carry, crouch, grasp, hold, kneel, lift, push/pull, reach, sit, squat, stand, stoop, stretch, turn, twist, talk, listen and communicate with others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead with a safety mindset that ensures that every US Foods associate remains injury free, always. Champion safety procedures, processes and training to create and maintain a safety-first culture in the warehouse.
* Oversee and develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required, and leading by example. Discuss associate performance with Sr. Warehouse Managers and create plans to address gaps.
* Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directing workforce to ensure efficient workflow.
* Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates within the warehouse department. Drive associate engagement and retention, and create a culture that embodies US Foods values.
* Participate in building high-performing teams by interviewing and hiring warehouse personnel, in conjunction with Sr. Warehouse Managers. Review performance, coach on productivity and safety targets, and deliver disciplinary action.
* Lead and direct associates to achieve accurate orders that are then staged and loaded on the trucks. Oversee the preparation of the warehouse for shipping or receiving on the next shift.
* Monitor operational information, such as "mis-picks" and productivity reports, to ensure the entire shift meets rates and follows preferred methods. Take action through coaching and counseling to correct behaviors.
* On day shift, designate dock locations for inbound carriers. Ensure product is stocked in appropriate location in accordance with food safety and FIFO processes & procedures. Monitor replenishment activity to ensure stock is available for the shipping shift and to minimize the potential for "shorts". Oversee will call.
* Maintain physical condition and safety of warehouse and equipment, including preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment.
* Work with operations management team to identify sources of inventory shrink and assist in development of an action plan. Analyze the current operations and make recommendations to improve on expense and cost control.
* Regularly inspect facility for safety hazards and either resolve them or report them to the safety manager as appropriate. Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment.
* Ensure Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and FSQA requirements are followed.
* Effectively schedule working shifts by leveraging appropriate planning tools (i.e., Microsoft Excel)

Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations. Mechanics will also be responsible for the documentation, completion, and to keep current the maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used daily. The position will be required to perform road rescue as needed.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.).

Must have (3) years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic or a combination of both; or (2) years verifiable hands-on experience with either Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification or both.
Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs.
Successfully demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program.
Must furnish own personal hand tools.
CDL A and DOT certified preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.).
* Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
* Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
* Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners to triage appropriate plan of action including equipment swaps etc.
* Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.

* Must have 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.
