What You' ll Be Doing
The Rework Technician will be responsible for undertaking all actions necessary to render return product serviceable; cleaning, testing, performance evaluation of electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies; follow standard practices and procedures in
analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of returned product
- Recognize failures, identify root causes, and repair products
- Records required information on all repairs
- Operates required equipment and test fixtures
- Attend meetings and training as assigned
- Ensure adherence to workmanship and quality control standards
- Completes repairs in a cost effective, efficient manner and expediting return product to stock
- Identify any needs related to supplies, tools, and other items needed for efficient workflow in the repair area
- Assists in material handling and inventory control as needed
- Maintains and cleans the work environment
- Offer assistance as needed for any variety of tasks as requested by management

- Major dispatch services
- Knowledge of live aerospace vehicle operations, environment and support.
- This includes pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and propulsion systems operations.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices (e.g., return to service, normal duties/responsibilities, time constraints, available resources) in order to effectively represent the operator within the company.
- Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines (e.g., Fabrication, Assembly, Tooling, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering).
- Knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-operations processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Logistics).
- Knowledge of quality systems (e.g., inspection process, quality procedures).
- Knowledge of regulatory authorities' (e.g., FAA, JAA, UK CAA) rules, regulations, flight test procedures, and philosophy.
- Must be able to stand, lift up to 35lbs and climb stairs
- Will be working outside in the elements 100% of the time- Outside on the flightline in all seasons.
