Experienced in multiple facets of healthcare: plastic & reconstructive surgery, global medical philanthropic projects and healthcare IT.On day to day basis, I perform plastic surgery to help reconstruct patients from the devastating effects of cancer (i.e. breast cancer) as well as aesthetic surgery to help people feel more confident and rejuvenated from the natural effects of aging. I also started and currently lead a non-profit organization, World Children's Initiative, that is very active in helping improve healthcare for children in disadvantaged areas (Sri Lanka and Uganda). Along the technology front, I co-developed a clinical resource app, iFlap (located for tablets on iTunes). This information rich and medical decision-making tool is intended both for patient education as well as resource guide for surgeons.
