The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Water Resources Leader to join the RS&H Infrastructure team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Water Resources engineers that support the successful delivery of high-profile transportation and infrastructure projects in Southwest Florida. Minimum Qualifications: Active, good-standing Professional Engineering license in the state of Florida. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering at an ABET-accredited university. Minimum of 10 years of progressive water resources engineering design experience Experience leading and designing stormwater management for transportation-related infrastructure. Proven experience in providing technical guidance to staff. This includes reviewing others' work for technical accuracy. Proven experience in managing and mentoring engineering staff. Proven experience with business development including client relationship development, proposal writing, and presentations. Proven track record of leadership, with a strong understanding of effective management practices. Must possess demonstrated project and budget management skills, and strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental engineering business principles. Must possess exceptional organizational, critical thinking, prioritization, process improvement, and oral and written communications skills. Must have the ability to effectively engage and empower teams, and interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Possesses a professional demeanor and adheres to ethical standards. Leads by example and provides clear guidance and expectations for team. The Studio Design Leader (SDL) is responsible for providing leadership and coordinating efforts to achieve design excellence within market. The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Bridge Construction Inspector for the Transportation-Construction Management team in the Sarasota and Tampa, FL areas. As a Senior Bridge Construction Inspector, you will monitor the contractor's on-site construction activities and inspect materials to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and special provisions for the construction contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be a team player, is enthusiastic, motivated, honest, and dependable. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Maintain detailed records of the contractor's daily operations and events that affect the work, monitoring, and inspecting contractor's work zone traffic control plan as well as reviewing modifications to the plan. Perform sampling and testing of component materials and completed work in accordance with the construction contract Prepare and check engineering computations Inspect the construction work and conduct field tests Manage the team of inspectors (coordinate their schedules, etc.) Ability to mentor and manage others on the team, along with complex construction projects Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent 8+ years of construction experience with 4+ years in bridge inspection or a Civil Engineering degree, and 4 years of road and bridge construction engineering and inspection experience. The Opportunity We are seeking Civil Field Engineering/CEI Inspectors for our Transportation-Construction Management team in the Bartow, FL area. As a Civil Field Engineering/CEI Inspector, you will monitor the contractor's on-site construction activities and inspect materials to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and other contract documents on road and bridge construction projects. To be successful in this position, you will possess strong communication skills and be a team player who is enthusiastic, motivated, honest, and dependable.
