DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As Administrative Officer 1, you will conduct and manage all aspects of personnel business and transactions for the County Program Office in accordance with State and Local Civil Service Commission requirements, including possession of full signatory authority for all personnel transactions. This position acts as liaison between Community Connections and the contracted provider of fiscal services assuring compliance with funding and reporting requirements. Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all harvesting procedures align with regulatory requirements.
Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of harvest areas, tools, and equipment to maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company protocols.
Identify and address maintenance or operational issues within the harvest area.
Monitor and track harvested material throughout the entire post-harvest process.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of harvested products to prevent contamination or loss.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
2+ years of leadership experience in a regulated agricultural, or cannabis facility.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop employees.
Knowledge of post-harvest processes and bucking and product handling.
Familiarity with compliance regulations in the cannabis industry.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to track and record inventory accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with seed-to-sale tracking software.
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including cold storage and humidity-controlled areas.
Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

Reporting to the Coordinator of Tutoring, tutors are dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence. They work with students one-on-one and in small groups to help them to become confident, independent learners. Tutors assist students by clarifying course content and offering study skills, test taking strategies, and general encouragement and support. Work hours will vary and are not guaranteed. Transcripts are required for those who earned a degree from a college/university other than Butler County Community College.
Peer tutors must have completed at least 12 credit hours of undergraduate course work, 9 credits of which must be in non-developmental or non-preparatory courses. They also must have a minimum G.P.A. of 2.8 and a final grade of A or B in the course(s) they wish to tutor. Associate Tutors have an associate's degree or 76 or more credit hours. Professional Tutors are those with a bachelor's degree or above.
