Absolutely none
The pay, expensive benefit packages no wellness offers like flu shots (we are taking care of people) wouldn't you want yous staff healthy and well?? Nope. They just keep taking. Taking the residents money and taking us for granted.
Nothing
Don't even know who he is
Learn the field before buying properties you can't manage
I didn't need to. I worked for the previous company
Awful. Most places are starting $4 more an hour and have less demanding schedules
Nothing to say
Residents. That is all
Being able to serve individuals who are often marginalized.
The greed and corruption that is RHA's culture.
Some schedule flexibility.
They do not communicate to begin with and so I know little of them. All that I can speak of is the greed and malfeasance which they perpetuate.
An enema! Start over from scratch! The company is nothing more than a dividend payout machine for a private equity fund.
Basically if one is a warm body, can pass a drug test on the day interview, and are not a convicted felon; then your hired!
They bank on state reimbursement and have no skin in the game with regard to paying the vast majority of their employees. They are on the lowest levels of salary average.
It's of little importance to me. They trend in hiring women and African immigrants.
Working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
The pros are definitely the people supported
The upper management staff are beyond laughable. The cliques bond together and support each other no matter if it's the wrong thing to do. Unethical behavior is standard. If you speak up, your targeted and don't bother reporting true suspicions of neglect or abuse. If it's someone they like, it's just ignored and deemed unsubstantiated. Extreme hostile work environments are present throughout the Trenton location. Policies against such an environment are absolutely ignored. If you truly care about those you support, RHA management will only beat you down emotionally and physically. They cannot keep good staff since they can see the unconscionable management attitudes and go elsewhere.
There are none
If the CEO cared, he would take note of employee complaints. If there are numerous, it's time to clean house of the management teams.
Hire all new office staff from the house managers to the director and find more ethical staff to fill those rolls.
Prepare? Prepare for what? They seem to hire anyone that walks through the doors. If you show any incline of education, they find you threatening versus an asset.
It's okay. They would perhaps retain better staff if they paid more. Or at best, make all the nonsense and drama more tolerable..the current rate is not worth putting yourself through the stress.
It depends on the job. Within the homes, it's primarily black staff. However, office staff are primary white.
Knowing you have given your best to enrich the lives of people supported.
They do not value the employees whatsoever. This company will throw dangerous individuals and once they have an ep
There are no pros in working for this company. Whatever you do, do not even give this company your time and energy—so many bad and poor management styles. There is no work-life balance. They only see you as a body to use and once you get hurt, they drop you like a hat.
There are none. This company shouldn't even be a thing. It's too greedy.
Suppose they had a massive overhaul of taking down the upper management. They don't seem to understand or care.
There is no way to prepare. They will hire you on the spot, which is a red flag.
None, there are no demeaning qualitiesfor these people
It's not even worth it. The pay is laughable.
Not that much
When I get to go home.
I never started rha the communication is horrible you show up no one shows up ,waste gas and time ,do not respond to messaging, poor representation of a company, would not continue the journey towards employment here
Better communication
I did not prepare
Never met the person ,but I’m sure if they knew how unorganized it was they would not be happy
It doesn’t,below average
I did not start
It would have been working with the people but I never started
The residents/clients that you have the opportunity to work with are remarkable individiuals
RHA management is absolutely atrocious. They DO NOT value individual employee's, they are not concerned about the quality of programming that is provided, they are deceptive in their overall corporate policy as it pertains to HR issues, they consistently minimize the contributions of any employee outside of the corporate hierarchy and the administration becomes defensive when presented with any feedback or advocacy from an employee
Direct work with the residents/clients has been the only reason I have remained with this company. They offer no "perks or benefits that are enticing, generally they do a very poor job of communicating changes to benefit packages (generally reductions) to employee's.
Quite honestly there is nothing redeeming about the CEO or anyone in a position of control in the leadership hierarchy of RHA, their corporate mentality/philosophy is maximize the bottom line for the benefit of a select few at the cost of the programs and the residents/clients that are served, as well as the employee's.
At least in PA, the first step toward improvement is for external advocacy agencies and licensing bodies to be made aware of the unethical practices that are common place and the corporately endorsed neglect that occurs. Perhaps then either RHA would be forced/compelled to make drastic improvements or they would divest from their PA programs.
As for any previous interview, by gaining an understanding of the job responsibilities prior to the interview an learning what I could about the program to which I had applied.
RHA does not recognize experience as a qualification, they simply recognize education. Thus, there pay is based solely on degree. Their pay rates lag at least 20% behind industry average in this area (PA)
Diversity in staffing is a strength, however this diversity is not incorporated into the programming and thus is an asset that goes unutilized.
Without question the residents/clients
The clients
Upper management and house managers are best friends and live together. So they all cover for each other.
The client are the best part of the job
Nothing , it was very enjoyable
Seen a client learn something new
Very flexible schedules, and pretty good PTO
There is very little growth opportunity
The PTO
Don't do it!!! This industry is bad enough as it is. But greed in the leadership is beyond pale. Disgusting at best. What a shame to have so much power to help people and so little humanity to do it.
Low Pay. Bad Leadership.
The customers/clients or better said, patients.
