Job Responsibilities:
Assists in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training to be used toward advance training for employees in the form of workshops, seminars, and/or coursework
Assesses, in cooperation with other staff, the training needs of staff at all levels within the facility
Prepares written reports and provides for testing of employees enrolled in courses
Ensures that required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required. Provides training and the coordination of training for all staff
Identifies, recommends, and prioritizes training needs for staff in addition to required training
All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Human Services area or an Associate of Arts degree and three years of experience in Human Services or equivalent to three years' experience working in IDD
