Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED and One year of experience, have direct support experience with individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities who have serious behavioral challenges and experience with crisis management OR have a Bachelor's degree in Human services field. If degree is not in Human services, must have experience with population.
Valid driver's license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage for liability.
Must maintain proficiency in company sponsored training and certifications specified and or required by future company regulations. Maintain CPR and First Aid certification. Successfully complete and maintain training courses as required or amended by company policy.
Responsibilities:
Provides direct support for individuals (no more than 4) with disabilities and challenging behavior in a community and/or residential setting. Assists the person(s) receiving services in identifying and communicating his or her requests and needs for services and supports.
Implements services and supports to address the person's goals and desired outcomes as identified through START Team.
Seeks to understand the individuals in the context of their personal history, their social and family networks, and their hopes and dreams for the future.
Provides a therapeutic environment for individuals at all times.
Relies on direction and supervision to accomplish the job.
Provide integrated care and treatment with collaboration among all team members.
Ability to support someone with behavioral challenges and implement effective crisis management protocols.

Outpatient behavioral health services are individual, group, and family therapies, and psychotherapy for crisis.

Job Responsibilities
As a Clinical Social Worker with RHA, your responsibilities will vary based on the groups you work with and the programs through which you provide services. In all activities, you will coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to best help service users, including behavioral health specialists, registered nurses, quality assurance specialists, paraprofessionals and the Clinical Director.
Additional responsibilities of the Clinical Social Worker include:

The Mental Health and Developmental Clinician partners with a Care Coordinator/Family Resource Partner/Family Support Partner (select title based on state) to support families referred to Child First. The Clinician uses Child Parent Psychotherapy, a relationship-based, dyadic, parent-child treatment model, which focuses on the primary attachment relationships of the young child. The Clinician engages with both the caregiver and child in a supportive, reflective, and exploratory manner which fosters a protective, nurturing, and responsive parent-child relationship. The Clinician's therapeutic intervention focuses on 1) helping caregivers understand typical developmental challenges and expectations; 2) increasing caregivers' ability to reflect on the meaning and feelings motivating a child's behavior; 3) supporting caregivers' problem solving; and 4) helping caregivers understand the psychodynamic relationship between parental feelings, history, and the caregiver response to the child. The Clinician also provides consultation to teachers in early care and education settings, as needed. This medically necessary service directly addresses the recipient's mental health and/or substance-related diagnostic and clinical needs. The needs are evidenced by the presence of a diagnosable mental, behavioral, or emotional disturbance (as defined by DSM-V and its successors), with documentation of symptoms and effects reflected in the comprehensive clinical assessment and the Person Centered Plan. This team provides a variety of clinical rehabilitative interventions available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

We are seeking compassionate and positive Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) Associate to provide therapeutic support for service users with mental health, behavioral health and substance abuse issues. Employee will provide group, individual and family counseling in the Asheville substance use program.
As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with RHA, you will coordinate and monitor the array of services and supports identified in each service user's person-centered plan. These interventions are strength-based and focus on the promotion of recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning.
Job Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist with RHA, your responsibilities will vary based on the groups you work with and the programs through which you provide services. In all activities, you will coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to best help service users, including behavioral health specialists, registered nurses, quality assurance specialists, paraprofessionals and the Clinical Director.
Additional responsibilities of the Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist include
:
Conducting clinical assessments
Running individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessions
Conducting inpatient group therapy sessions
Orienting new service users to RHA
Developing person-centered plans for service users
Oversee the discharge planning process
Facilitating relationships between RHA, service user families/legal guardians and various social service community resources, such as food stamp and housing assistance, healthcare, job training and placement and substance abuse support groups

Our ideal Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist is an excellent communicator and listener with strong therapeutic skills who works well as part of an interdisciplinary team and runs open and productive therapy sessions. You must also excel at behavioral interviewing techniques to uncover service user needs and be able to anticipate these needs.
Additional requirements for the Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist include:
Graduate degree in Social Work or a related field
At a minimum, provisional licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in the state of North Carolina
Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues that includes writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnoses
General working knowledge of the human services delivery system in North Carolina
Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of performing CPR and therapeutic holds
Employee supervisory experience preferred
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred

The position of Licensed Clinical Professional calls for a licensed professional clinician with direct experience and skill in treating a range of behavioral health issues. Position Requirements:
Graduate degree in Counseling or a related field

The position of Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate calls for a licensed professional clinician with direct experience and skill in treating a range of behavioral health issues. The position requires an individual who is able to treat and be successfully at assessing and treating co-occurring disorders including mental illness, personality disorders, and challenges in primary or secondary support systems. The position of Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate includes active engagement and coordination of care with internal resources including psychiatry and community support as well as external bodies including the legal system, families, and social support agencies. The position may call for back-up to the program director and or other therapists as needed. The position requires the individual to be an active and positive member of the clinical team. Based on setting, special skills and/or work with specific populations will be required. Relies on knowledge, experience, and judgment to provide quality services with very little supervision and direction. Must be an individual that holds a license issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession. Some services may require additional experience, licensure, or education.
