Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical assessments to identify needs and guide treatment planning
Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions in outpatient and inpatient settings
Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members including psychiatry, nursing, behavioral health specialists, and case managers
Collaborate with community partners, legal systems, families, and social service agencies to ensure comprehensive support
Facilitate the orientation of new service users to RHA programs
Oversee discharge planning to support continuity of care and community reintegration
Serve as a positive, engaged member of the clinical team, providing backup to the program director or other therapists as needed
Requirements:
Active LCAS, LCAS-Associate, or CADC certification
Graduate degree in Social Work or a related human services field
Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders, including developing treatment plans, providing therapy, and making mental health diagnoses
Provisional licensure in North Carolina is acceptable
Working knowledge of the human services delivery system in North Carolina
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent communication and listening skills
Strong therapeutic and behavioral interviewing skills

The licensed clinician is provided with training to obtain certification as a North Carolina Certified First Commitment Examiner to perform assessments for individuals under Involuntary Commitment status. MUST be FULLY licensed in NC as an LCMHC, LCSW.
Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) is an outpatient program designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for persons experiencing a mental health, substance use or developmental disability crisis. We have registered nurses on staff 24/7, an on-call physician, and other clinical support. Our goal is to provide holistic care and access to needed de-escalation, intervention, resolution and prevention services for people in crisis and those in need of substance use treatment.
Schedule: Multiple shifts available, 8-12 hours shifts and PRN

The Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) offers walk-in services to anyone in the community and partners closely with emergency services and law enforcement to reduce utilization of emergency departments and jails. The BHUC operates 24/7/365, serves adults and children, regardless of insurance. The Licensed Clinician provides support to individuals with Behavioral Health Issues, including mental health crises and detox.
