Responsible for packaging, transferring and maintaining all product inventory. Performs appropriate systems transactions when required to document all inventory movement and keep the associated files up to date and compliant with all applicable company & industry standards. REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembles and packs boxes with applicable products. Moves products between production departments. Assists with receiving, counting of items, and storage of materials in applicable assigned locations. Records inventory transactions where applicable, utilizing the Company system, including SAP. Prepares RIWO shipments for customers, trade shows, labs, and evaluations, as per a provided equipment list. Responsible for serving as the liaison for the Optics Department for repairs, repair parts, and product investigations. REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicates with the Product Surveillance Team (complaints), and Optics Department regarding product investigations, shipping of scopes to vendors, and tracking of complaint repairs to ensure completion in a timely manner. Collaborates with Optics Stockroom (Materials Management) & the Optics Production Manager to ensure minimal backlog of repairs. Maintains log of backordered parts for repairs. Maintains & distributes statistical data pertaining to current production and repairs inventory. Coordinates disposal of scrap materials with the Production Manager and/or Production Supervisor. Responsible for leading the daily activities of the Decontamination & Cleaning Department for all applicable product received from the field. Ensures all Decontamination & Cleaning personnel follow department procedures including but not limited to the decontamination, cleaning, receiving, documentation, and timely management of product routing. REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibility is to ensure that the decontamination processes and procedures are effective and efficiently meet industry cleanliness standards for returned devices from the field. Proper controls and segregation is crucial for all products requiring decontamination and cleaning processing. Ensures the safety of personnel (through the use of proper PPE) that handle returned product during and after decontamination. Provides training of new & current personnel that may come into contact with returned product from the field and interact with the decontamination processes. Oversees all repair (REP), credit, loaner, Trial & Evaluation (T&E), and demo orders are processed; ensures documentation accuracy. Ensures that the correct Return Authorization paperwork is with each returned product. Ensures any/all updates are completed for the Richard Wolf shipping report; disseminates updates to field personnel and/or Customer Service. Responsible for the processing of fax and email requests, answering inquires via the 800 and DID lines to assist customers and Sales Representatives with basic product information requests, orders, return authorizations, and any other basic inquiries. REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works directly with customers to process orders received via telephone, fax or email and assist them with any inquiries. Answers incoming calls through queue or direct line. Processes incoming orders under $1,000 via phone. Receives and enters incoming orders up to $20,000. Completes follow ups with Sales Representatives, customers & internal personnel on all orders entered, as needed. Sends order confirmations to customers via email. Works in conjunction with Stockroom and Shipping departments to determine estimated delivery times or shipping costs and conducts research on any order delivery issues.
