Responsibilities:
Staffing:
Responsible for onboarding of all Dickinson new hires, co-ops and interns, insuring phones, key fobs, login credentials and necessary system accesses are in place, resolving any issues Ensures all HRIS and Employment verification steps are complete Assisting with resolving technology issues in partnership with ITPairing new hires with initial trainers; following up with FOC's and trainers to determine field readiness.Timesheet reviews, resolving discrepancies and ensuring corrections are resolved; reviewing and approving PTO requests and updating the vacation calendar.Correcting all system errors for staff, e.g. preparing, moving or deleting reports, CTs, cylinder sets Assignment and acquisition of any vehicles and equipment, including repair protocols and maintenance repairs as needed Enrolling staff in required trainings such as but not limited to: MNDOT, radiation safety, ICC testing, and any other required training; partnering with Ops management to identify appropriate attendees.Off boarding co-ops and interns, including layoffs
Fleet Management
Responsible for managing department equipment needs and inventory, keeping the supply room stocked, including seasonal variations and preparations Maintaining appropriate testing equipment and supplies, ordering as needed and ensuring all equipment (except nuclear density gauges) are calibrated through tracking and coordination with Mat Lab staff Ordering new vehicles, partnering with Finance and HR to report new acquisitions and perk vehicles (including IRS FMV); ensuring all new vehicles are added to insurance policy.Coordination of vehicles between disciplines and locations; ordering and maintaining all necessary supplies such as decals, GPS devices, safety kits and fuel cards; distributing supplies to drivers of new vehicles.Oversight of vehicle maintenance and compliance of TC CMT vehicles Managing claims process, filing accident claims in conjunction with local law enforcement, ensuring all repairs and payments are issued correctly.Fuel card management activities such as answering calls on fueling issues and declines, adjusting fuel velocity and spend limits and filing fuel fraud claims as requested Scheduling and coordination of disposal of vehicles with fleet company Managing supply and distribution of PPPMaintain titles and MSO's for company Backup for Dickinson Designated Radiation Safety Officer (DRSO)
Minimum Experience and Education:
Associate's Degree from a 2-year business or vocational school and 3 years related experience. Experience to include word processing and progressively challenging administrative support.
Individual must possess the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Individual will have the aptitude to write business correspondence and generate project proposals using standard formats and supplied data. Possess the ability to present information clearly and concisely in one-on-one and small group situations.
Employees must possess ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, as well as the ability to draw and interpret bar, chart and pie graphs.
Receives general direction and works independently with limited supervision in most areas. Individual must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions Must possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Licensing or Certification requirements:
Valid driver's license and pass MVR as required.

Duties of this position require an individual to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The individual may be required to sit for extended periods of time and must have the capability to walk and move. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when on job site.
