Richmond Volleyball Club company history timeline
The Richmond Volleyball Club, a private, non- profit 501c(3) organization, was founded in 1981 when two area leagues, TRAVL and Fan League, merged and opened what was our first location (RVC East) at 3300 West Marshall Street in Richmond, Virginia.
In addition to the night leagues, RVC began a junior volleyball program in 1990.
These two locations, housing a total of ten courts, served RVC until January, 2010.
In March 2018, RVC expanded it’s operations with a 50, 000 sq. ft. facility which houses 8 courts and observation mezzanine, in partnership with Chesterfield Parks & Recreation.
