This position will be responsible for operating and maintaining Waterjet machinery, ensuring production of quality parts while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Candidates with prior Waterjet and metal shop experience are highly encouraged to apply. Essential Job Functions: Operate and monitor Waterjet machines to perform precise cutting operations. Prepare materials and perform basic setups for running routine parts. Use floor programming for basic tasks such as fly cuts, circle/square cuts, and open holes. Perform basic part alignment and datum finding. Conduct inspections using gauges and precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards. Operate manual equipment including knee mills and lathes. Follow production schedules and report progress and estimated completion times. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Collaborate within a team environment and demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day. Regular lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Exposure to heat and humidity during summer months. Navigating typical manufacturing hazards including noise and moving equipment. Frequent bending, reaching, walking, and manual dexterity. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational or Journeyman training preferred.
