Key Responsibilities: Rides operator colleagues are assigned to a specific ride for each game and maintain proper ballpark standards of guest experience and safety in a fun, family friendly environment. Responsible for checking in and out all necessary equipment each day in the state it was received in. When assigned, responsible for collecting payment for each rider via credit card using provided point of sale terminal. Directing guests on where to purchase ticket(s) for the rides. Greet guests as they approach you and give them a proper salutation after they are done with the ride or interactive. Constantly monitor assigned area for cleanliness, safety, and damaged items, addressing concerns with supervisor/management. Assist in keeping the ballpark clean. Proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information regarding the ballpark and surrounding areas in a timely manner. Never avoiding a guest or leaving a question unanswered. Responds to and resolve guests' questions, concerns, complaints or suggestions in a professional and polite manner. Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations. Maintains professional use of radio etiquette for communication during games and events. Enforce policies, rules and regulations of the ballpark. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills and provide excellent customer service, strong communication skills to proactively engage with guests, colleagues and management while always maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. Strong observational skills to proactively identify guest needs and ensure that guests are having a memorable experience. Must be attentive to guest's needs, have full knowledge of all policies, services, and facility locations. (Staff will be trained in these areas) Ability to learn operation of rides. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be exposed to different types of weather (sometimes extreme weather). Must be able to work long hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to report to work 2 - 3 hours prior to game time. Rides staff works on average, 5 - 7 hours per event. Hours are dependent on the length of the baseball game, weather delays, extra innings, etc. Must be able to work at least 35 games per season, 50% of holidays, and all concerts. The Secondary Operator (Machine Shop, Spring Shop, and MPC department) performs final processing, expediting and packaging of spring products for the customers of HyTech, focusing on product finishing and assembly, treatment, packaging, quality, continuous improvement and safety. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Receives customer orders and prepares items for shipping. Observes operation and speed of packing and adjusts when necessary. Primary function is final production processing, expediting and packaging of products before shipment, including modify and assemble, finish and treat, inspect and sort and operate all assigned equipment Secondary operations include a wide variety of repetitive operations such as flattening, flaring, grinding, buffing, trimming, crimping, looping, shrink tubing, tumbling, demagnetizing, and cut and weld procedures. May setup cable cutter, crimp flare, sandblast, grinders, setco and other machines within the shop to prep for secondary operation. Safely operate equipment including Forklift, Moyer, Bennet, Scotch Brite Wheel, Auto-Weld, Paint Spray Booth, and Drying Ovens. Product or parts cleaning or “treatments” such as ultrasonic, rust inhibition, washing, drying, coating and painting. Perform quality conformance procedures including sorting, Vision System inspection, and micrometer testing. Follow proper make down, use, safety and disposal of cleaning solutions, rust preventative, paints and other chemical treatments. Closely observe equipment for malfunctions, quality, or potential problems, including broken or worn equipment and report immediately. Crystal Mountain Lift Operators work outside in the elements to make sure our guests load and unload the lifts safely and efficiently. They also ensure that all guests have valid lift tickets and ensure well organized lift lines. Job Duties and Responsibilities Give verbal instructions to skiers on how to load and unload the lifts and be as friendly, helpful, and courteous as possible when doing so. Ensure safe operation of lift. Be alert at all times monitoring safety. Provide information to riders. Participate in ski lift evacuation training exercise and actual ski lift evacuations, if necessary. Shovel snow and continuously maintain the condition of lift mazes and loading and unloading platforms. Maintain a clean workplace in lift shacks. Use proper technique for loading and unloading lifts, and assist with special cases, such as children and handicapped skiers. Check tickets of skiers and maintain orderly crowd control in lift mazes. Maintain overall operation of the lift in which you are in charge. Complete all required forms legibly and accurately, such as the Daily Lift Log. Perform pre-operation check of the lift, as well as at the end of shift. Professionally resolve issues during shift and communicate to supervisor. Call for assistance as needed.
