The Operator will help the area meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate. Vishay Electro Films is located in the beautiful ocean state of Rhode Island in the city of Warwick. There are 92 employees across three shifts working at our 57,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This role is an on-site position.
What you will be doing:
Process work orders through the Alloy area in accordance with the daily schedule.
Perform accurate set up of Probe station and bake ovens.
Measure substrates according to Material Process Instructions (MPS) in our Quality Link system.
Perform accurate transactions in our Avante system and production logs.
Completely and accurately fill out all logs associated with your transaction.
What you will bring along:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform work under a microscope.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Perform basic Mathematical functions using a calculator.
Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
Must be able to learn to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
Will be required to wear clean room attire.
