Job Summary:
The Home Care Aide (HCA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.
Essential Functions:
Personal Care

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
Licensed to provide home care in Washington State. For some unlicensed candidates, paid HCA training is available
At least 1 year experience as a Home Care Aide (in homes or facilities) desired, or other applicable experience
Be listed in good standing on with the Washington DSHS Background Check System
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
Experience with specific conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, etc a plus

Visiting Angels is currently looking for expert Caregivers to join our team serving residents of King County.
As a Caregiver you are part of our team to ensure that we are providing the best class service to our clients and their families. You will work 1-on-1 with clients in their home to ensure that they are able to remain safe, comfortable and independent. Our client care includes everything from companionship, light hands-on assistance, heavy hands-on bed bound personal care, and end of life hospice care with nurse delegation. You may be responsible for assisting clients with errands, light housekeeping, medication reminders, meal planning/cooking, personal care, and providing companionship.
