Leads project estimation process, partnering with a cross-functional team. Responsibilities: Develop strong relationships with subcontractors to drive increased participation, return after not winning prior bid, and drive a two-way dialog to improve timely communications. Review proposal specifications, drawings, contract documents, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of project estimate. Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit and manhour figures. Perform computerized quantity take-off and pricing of all assigned items.
