About the Position
The QIDP is a psychologist, social worker, or human services professional with specific higher education accomplishments and experiences that enable them to ensure that the services a client receives are consistent with their needs & wishes. You are responsible for integrating, coordinating, and monitoring each client's progress towards the goals set in their Individual Support Plan. You ensure Rimland's legal compliance with the State of Illinois Department of Human Services and are knowledgeable about DHS Rules 50, 119 and HCBS. Some of your responsibilities include:
Client Advocacy
Participate in all Personal Care Plan meetings to aide in the development of the Implementation Strategy and calendar of life
Lead ISSA visits
Coordinate family visits
Communicate issues related to the safety and well-being of clients to supervisors
Assist clients in the community to ensure full implementation of the Calendar of Life
Maintain good relationships with volunteers and similar community organizations
Ensure needed supplies are available to carry out identified outcomes per the individuals plan and order as needed
Documentation
Complete a monthly summary of client progress
Assure full implementation of programming is reflective in Therap (ISP data, GER, BER, etc.)
Update Implementation Strategies upon receipt of updated Personal Plan from ISC
Training
Monitor and review client skill training through assessments and direct observations
Provide On the Job Training to new hires and act as a mentor
Provide training reinforcements for areas such as: HCBS, Rule 115 and personal plans
Train staff on the individuals Implementation Strategy and outcomes
Compliance
Maintain and monitor all CDS supports including the specific activities, tasks, and programs
Participate in disciplinary actions of DSPs
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Schedule follow up appointments as needed
Training
Monitor and review client skill training specific to medical and hygiene through assessments and direct observations
Provide On the Job Training to new hires through shadowing doctor appointments
Provide training reinforcements for areas such as: HCBS, Rule 116, 115 & 119 and personal plans
Train staff on the individuals Implementation Strategy and medical specific outcomes
Compliance
Ensure all medical appointments are completed consistent with DHS Rule 116 requirements
Ensure all medical needs are met consistent with physician recommendations and applicable staff training is conducted by the Health & Wellness Department.

About the Position We are hiring DSPs who are professional, energetic, and nurturing. You will provide hands-on support to individuals as they work on daily activities and long-term goals. This includes activities such as art projects, meal preparation, enhancing social skills, providing companionship, and more.

Position Overview
The Residential Manager (RM) provides on-call leadership, supervision, and quality oversight for Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) homes serving adults with developmental disabilities throughout DuPage County. This role supports approximately 3-4 CILA homes and ensures continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and adherence to RGA's policies and service standards outside of regular business hours.
The RM supervises Community Support Supervisors (CSS) and provides guidance and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) during emergent or high-priority situations.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide on-call operational and supervisory support to CILA homes.
· Ensure compliance with IDHS/DDD and BALC regulations.
· Respond to staffing issues, medical or behavioral emergencies, facility concerns, and reportable incidents.
· Support and guide Community Support Supervisors with decision-making, incident response, and staffing coverage.
· Promote person-centered practices aligned with Person Centered Plans and CQL Personal Outcome Measures.
· Conduct on-site or remote quality checks as needed.
· Coordinate with nursing, clinical, maintenance, and leadership staff during emergencies.
· Ensure timely, accurate documentation and follow-up of incidents and corrective actions.
· Communicate trends, concerns, and resolutions to program leadership.

Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Certified as a DSP on the IDPH Health Care Worker Registry.
· Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
· Prior supervisory or lead experience in residential or community-based services.
· Knowledge of CILA regulations and person-centered service delivery.
· Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
· Valid Illinois driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
· Availability to work on-call, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Experience overseeing multiple residential sites.
· Familiarity with Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) principles.
· CPI, First Aid/CPR, and medication administration certifications (or ability to obtain).
Work Environment
· Frequent travel to residential sites throughout DuPage County.
· Exposure to emergency or crisis situations.
· Variable hours based on operational needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure Participant Safety

Maintain Program Environment
Set up and clean up daily program activities

Transportation Support
Must be able and comfortable driving a 10-15 passenger para transit bus.
Assist participants in safely boarding/exiting agency vehicles
Help manage behaviors and safety during transport
Ensure vehicles are cleaned and ready for future use
Workplace Safety
Follow vehicle use and maintenance procedures
Participate in annual defensive driving training (if applicable)
Report safety concerns or maintenance needs promptly
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain patient, observant, and proactive
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support
Must pass background checks and meet direct care requirements
Work Environment
Indoor and community-based settings
Regular physical activity (standing, bending, lifting, assisting participants)
Consistent, daytime schedule - no nights or weekends!
