In this role, you will manage multiple, large scale and technically complex power infrastructure projects across multiple geographies by facilitating close collaboration between both internal and external stakeholders. Within the overarching strategy, this individual must be resilient in exploring and discovering new supply opportunities (that delivery both near term capacity with an accelerated path to net-zero carbon supply), ultimately converting them into tactically sound and executable energy projects while working to reduce energy capital and operating expenses. Internally, responsibilities outside of implementing the defined strategy include reporting status, risks, mitigations and successes to C level and VP level leadership, as well as influencing multiple cross-functional partner teams in the overall data center capacity delivery business process. Externally, this role takes ownership of managing utility interactions, coordinating efforts between real estate, engineering and planning teams in site evaluation, project engineering, scheduling and budgeting, including influencing and contracting with the utility, EPC and/or Owner's Engineer to meet AWS' needs. The individual will work in an integrated team to implement a strategy that meets and exceeds AWS' energy program requirements while delivering projects on time, with tangible reliability and cost-saving results. The ideal candidate will possess a strong energy background and a proven track record of developing and delivering on innovative energy projects. Experience working with regulated electric utilities to develop, contract and deliver medium and high voltage power infrastructure, including related tariffs and supply agreements, is a must. In this role, you will negotiate and execute power supply contracts across AWS regions and create innovative supply structures that integrate our renewable energy portfolio and Support the growth of clean energy via utility partnerships. As a part of Marine Corps Force Design initiatives, Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) and Deputy Commandant for Information (DC I) dedicated Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 Task Force was tasked to research, design, and provide initial deliveries of non-Military Construction (MILCOM) ICD 705 compliant structures to select Marine Corps operating units. A portion of this effort involves supporting Marine Corps Systems Command Program (MCSC) Office with the planning and formal delivery/fielding of “deployable” structures capable of ICD 705 accreditation. This position will support the Task Force and MCSC Program team by providing project and knowledge management support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist MCSC Program Office with tracking program performance, costs, and schedules, while collaborating on risk management and status reporting. This includes updating the government's risk management tool system and conducting risk reporting during program management and risk management events. Assist MCSC Program Office to draft, review, and recommend changes to documentation in support of the acquisition milestone cycle. All documentation shall follow the DoD 5000, SECNAVINST 5000.2G, MARCORSYSCOM Acquisition Guidebook, and documentation templates to include Acquisition Plans, Single Acquisition Management Plans, Acquisition Program Baselines, and Program Management Reviews. Provide comprehensive support for programmatic activities, including coordinating and attending meetings, documenting key points and action items, preparing presentation/briefing materials, and ensuring timely follow-up on tasks. Assist MCSC prepare acquisition packages such as but not limited to Acquisition Strategy, Statement of Work, IGCE, and QASP. Provide liaison between MCSC Program Office, ICD 705 Task Force and MCWL X711 Program. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least 10+ years' total experience that can be made up from Marine Corps experience with Navy/Marine Corps acquisition/program/project support and/or experience with program/project management supporting the planning and construction of ICD 705 type structures or facilities. Ability to perform 5% travel; ability to travel to Marine Corps locations around Stafford Virginia, National Capital Region, and perspective or active performer sites. Highly proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project. Preferred Qualifications: PMP Certification or equivalent DAU a plus. Formal education/training on SCIF and/or SAPF construction a plus. Clearance Requirements: Candidate must have an active current TS/SCI security clearance.
