On the System Test and Integration team, you will own flight operations of early stage aircraft, from custom prototypes through the bring-up of new production builds. What You'll Do
Independently own all aspects of flight operations, looping in engineering support as needed to make quick progress:
Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade electromechanical aircraft systems
Validate aircraft ahead of flight through a series of ground-based tests
Develop and maintain preflight checklists and other operational procedures
Execute flight tests across a variety of aircraft
Manage safety in a bustling test facility to mitigate risk from prototype flights
Document your processes from inspections to flight tests
Send out regular status updates to the team on challenges, failures and wins

THE ROLE
The Heavy Equipment Operator III is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a hydraulic grapple or magnetic crane to lift, sort, load or unload scrap metal and debris in preparation for processing operations, also load and unload containers and trailers and lift and move heavy scrap metal of varying sizes and weights around the work area. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
* Perform pre and post operation inspections of assigned equipment according to company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, review cameras, and safety features are clean and operable
* Continuously check the condition of the equipment to ensure it is always operationally ready to minimize production downtime
* Determine load weights and verify against lifting abilities to prevent overloads and dangerous situations
* Safe and efficient operations of the assigned machine to move vehicles for decommissioning, debris to proper storage site, and the loading of trucks and/or train cars

Compensation:

What You'll Do
Serve as a Senior cross-functional leader, aligning Design Engineering, Flight Test Engineering, Operations, and site leadership.
Work with engineering teams to prioritize test execution - ensuring the highest-value tests are executed first.
Manage resource planning, and infrastructure bring-up for major validation campaigns.
Execute complex flight tests, including prelight instrumentation, monitoring of automated tests, incident response, and data collection.
Rapidly debug and resolve flight test issues across hardware, software, controls, and operations.
Analyze flight data to identify anomalies, validate performance, and recommend next steps.
Generate clear, actionable test reports that drive engineering decision-making.
Support FAA Type Certification activities by executing specific test protocols, demonstrations, and documentation tasks.
Identify and lead operational process, software tooling, and infrastructure improvements to increase test precision, insights, capacity, and velocity.
Serve as shift lead when needed, ensuring safe, high quality, and well coordinated test execution.
Mentor and support junior flight test operators, offering guidance, training, removing blockers, reinforcing SOP compliance and improving their technical and operational performance.
Travel to support flight operations at different test sites as needed.
Flexibility to work an array of schedule structures including, but not limited to: day, swing, nights, weekends, rotational.
What You'll Bring
Technical degree in an Engineering, Unmanned Aerial System, Aviation or related discipline or equivalent experience.
At least two plus years of experience in aviation, robotics, or autonomous systems testing.

THE ROLE
The Heavy Equipment Operator II position is a full-time, hourly position and is located at our Environmental Waste Facility in Lost Hills. Heavy equipment will primarily include front-end loaders, screens, and conveyors. As a Flight Test Operator, you will have the critical task of testing the new and existing systems we build and operate in order to ensure that we are developing safe and reliable systems. This may include preflighting and launching aircraft, doing repair and maintenance work on aircraft and ground systems, and performing tests on new hardware and software. You will be working to improve the process, building and testing of prototypes for our next-generation tech, and collecting data of various types. Essential Function
Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in good working condition.

Monitor machines during operation to ensure that they are producing products that meet quality standards.
Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure quality control standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments to fix any issues that arise during the production process.
Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to the proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other employees.
Consistently meet production requirements.
Continuously work in a safe manner and maintain a safe and clean work area.
Follow company rules and guidelines.
Comply with cross-training and other training requirements.

To be successful as a machine operator, candidates should have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, be mechanically inclined, and possess a strong attention to detail. They should also be able to read and interpret work instructions and can work independently as well as part of a team. Other skills and abilities include:
Physical stamina and dexterity are also important qualities as the job involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to speak and read English effectively.
Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements.

Ability to stand for an 8-10-hour shift.
Prior experience preferred, but not required.

The Senior Flight Test Operator is a technical leader responsible for planning, prioritization, execution, and continuous improvement of Zipline's large scale, flight testing operation. This role blends deep systems-level engineering thinking with hands-on flight operations expertise to ensure we test the right things, at the right time, with precision, velocity, and uncompromising safety.
You will own the integration and execution of complex test campaigns, resolve technical blockers, raise and mitigate risks, and translate flight test results into actionable engineering insights. You will also lead multi-week validation campaigns, manage resources and infrastructure bring-up, and pioneer new tools and processes that expand the throughput and quality of Zipline's flight testing capability.
This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, operations, and leadership, jumping into detailed data analysis or debugging, and guiding teams through ambiguous, high-stakes challenges.
What You'll Do
Serve as a senior cross-functional leader, aligning Design Engineering, Flight Test Engineering, Operations, and site leadership.
Work with engineering teams to prioritize test execution - ensuring the highest-value tests are executed first.
Manage resource planning, and infrastructure bring-up for major validation campaigns.
Execute complex flight tests, including prelight instrumentation, monitoring of automated tests, incident response, and data collection.
Rapidly debug and resolve flight test issues across hardware, software, controls, and operations.
Analyze flight data to identify anomalies, validate performance, and recommend next steps.
Generate clear, actionable test reports that drive engineering decision-making.
Support FAA Type Certification activities by executing specific test protocols, demonstrations, and documentation tasks.
Identify and lead operational process, software tooling, and infrastructure improvements to increase test precision, insights, capacity, and velocity.
Serve as shift lead when needed, ensuring safe, high quality, and well coordinated test execution.
Mentor and support junior flight test operators, offering guidance, training, removing blockers, reinforcing SOP compliance and improving their technical and operational performance.
Travel to support flight operations at different test sites as needed.
Flexibility to work an array of schedule structures including, but not limited to: day, swing, nights, weekends, rotational.
What You'll Bring
Technical degree in an Engineering, Unmanned Aerial System, Aviation or related discipline or equivalent experience.
At least two plus years of experience in aviation, robotics, or autonomous systems testing.
You enjoy work that gets you out from behind a desk, in the field, and working with our hardware and software in action.
You excel in autonomous, dynamic environments where priorities shift and proactive execution matters.

The starting cash range for this role is $41.85 - $49.50/ hour. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; overtime pay; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.

About You and The Role
The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery via (autonomous aircraft). This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, timely, and precise delivery of products. Associates will work closely with the operations team to maintain high quality standards, follow strict safety protocols, and support the Company's mission of providing reliable, on-demand deliveries.

What You'll Do Order Picking and Packing
Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
Verify product type, quantity, and quality before packing.
Pack items securely to ensure product integrity during flight.
Label and document orders to ensure proper delivery.
Loading and Preparation for Delivery
Safely load prepared orders into payload compartments following safety and quality guidelines.
Verify correct order placement and secure loading prior to launch.
