Job Profile Summary
In collaboration with Physician leadership, provides ongoing training, support, facilitation and coordination of the physician adoption component of the electronic medical record. Develops and implements a clinical approval process to facilitate the implementation of Medical Logic Modules and orders sets submitted by the medical staff.
Job Description Responsibilities:
â— Maintains thorough site specific physician adoption plan.
â— Regularly reviews progress towards goals and objectives detailed in the plan.
â— Coordinates and provides attending training for the electronic medical record. Coordinates and provides physician training using a variety of methods: classroom computer based training and one on one training.
â— Maintains education materials for all methods.
â— Tracks physician training and proficiency requirements.
â— Provides ongoing training and coaching for physicians.
â— In collaboration with Medical Staff office, coordinates and provides new physician orientation. Coordinates physician remote access connection to the EMR. Advises physician office staff on the technical requirements for remote access.
â— Coordinates, provides and tracks training for physician office staff.
â— Promotes maximum utilization of EMR within the physician group.
â— Serves as primary contact for physician.
â— Resolves EMR related issues.
â— Provides ongoing techniques to better incorporate and utilize the EMR.
â— Facilitates the creation, use and maintenance of order sets.

Education:
â— Bachelor's degree preferred.
Certifications:
Experience typically supported by license in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy, medical technology or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
Work Experience:
â— 3 years experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a multi-entity health care system. Experience with clinical information systems or computerized physician order management preferred.
â— Experience in education/training or human resources development preferred. Must have strong clinical background and knowledge of patient care setting and clinical practice.
â— Nursing experience preferred but other diagnostic and therapeutic experience acceptable.

Job Profile Summary: Provides a high level of customer service to patients, families, visitors and employees to promote and supports the highest level of patient experience. Performs administrative and clerical duties to ensure efficient operational flow in their assigned department. Provides or assists with basic direct patient care activities under the supervision of an RN with technical skills specifically identified on applicable skills checklists for which training and competency have been established.
Job Description Job Responsibilities: Conducts an in-person greeting, welcome and orientation to the unit for newly admitted and transferred patients.
Responds to patient call lights in a manner that expedites appropriate follow through.
Makes rounds on patients throughout their hospital stay.
Communicates and facilitates communication with patients, families, other departments and health care team members regarding patient care.
Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
Provides concierge service to assist patients and families with way finding and directs them to available resources.
Assembles and maintains patient medical records and other documents related to patient care
Assists with unit clerical functions.
Assists in trouble-shooting equipment failures such as call system, portable phones, WOWs and other unit devices.l
Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to RN. These include but are not limited to vital signs, weights, assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, patient transfers/transport, pulse oximetry, point of care testing, application of external monitoring devices, and further technical skills of phlebotomy, clean dressing changes, and 12-lead ECG’s.
Assists with keeping patient rooms clean & orderly.
Demonstrates a positive, concerned and sensitive response in the workplace.
Ability to read, write and speak English and to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to perform basic clinical mathematics.

Additional education/training may substitute for some/all of the stated experience (i.e. mental health experience).
Nursing students who have recently completed a minimum of one clinical rotation as part of an accredited nursing school program may substitute the clinical rotation for the required experience.
Military experience as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1) will be considered.

Provides clerical support for the Pathologists and result reporting of cytopathology and anatomic pathology.
Completes transcription of both gross and final diagnosis for cytology and surgical reports.

Education:

Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
In areas performing moderate sedation procedures and/or cardiac stress testing, must have current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification within 6 months of hire.

If current Cleveland Clinic Caregiver in ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting transferring into a RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting will consider current LPN, Medical Assistant, and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience (e.g. Dialysis Tech., Ambulatory CT., in lieu of RN experience, or if current Cleveland Clinic Caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area as ambulatory area transferring into will consider current LPN, Medical Assistant, and /or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience(Dialysis Tech. , Ambulatory CT., Inpatient PCNA, inpatient C.T., Inpatient LPN, in lieu of RN experience. Current demonstrated clinical competence.
Physical Requirements:
