Job Purpose
To manage and direct the safe and proper construction of transmission and distribution power lines.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise the construction and maintenance of the distribution and transmission facilities of RGEC in conformity with established standards and Rural Utilities Service (RUS) Specifications
• Must be able to issue clear directions to construction crew and effectively manage daily workload and schedules
• Ensure all jobs are completed in accordance with corporate specifications and timeframe
• Ensures consistent information regarding direction of line feed, location of reclosing, and switching devices
• Receive clearance and issue instructions to energize or de-energize lines and determine compliance with all safety precautions and regulations, when opening and closing energized lines
• Able to work with contractors and establish a professional relationship to deliver projects within deadline
• Required to be on the construction site constantly in order to ensure set standards are adhered
• Attend meetings with respective department(s) and contractors
• Coordinate and communicate with warehouse coordinators on documented Material Charge Outs, Returns, and Transfers
• Ensure direct supervision and documentation of material transfer to contractors during reviewing, framing, and construction of RUS assemblies, as required
• Develop and promote the required adherence to all established safety rules, regulations, and practices
• Perform other jobs as directed

Qualifications
• 15 years' experience in electrical distribution and transmission facilities preferred
• Specialized training in maintenance and construction of overhead and underground power lines
• Must be able to read staking sheets and order materials for projects, as required
• Experience includes all phases of construction, maintenance, and system operation
• Two-year management/supervisory experience desired
• Must become familiar with various software applications (i.e. NISC-iVUE software including AppSuite, work order workflow, etc.)
• Must possess knowledge of RUS Materials and Specifications for Line Construction, National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations
• Possess a valid Texas drivers' license
• Insurable with the Cooperative's auto insurance carrier
• Possess oral and written communication skills in the English language
• Possess good interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain a harmonious working relationship with all Cooperative employees
• Must be or become certified in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Primary Purpose of Position
The Journeyman Electrical Service Technician/Sr. Journeyman Electrical Service Technician is responsible for performing residential electrical service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades. Primary Duties and Accountabilities

Position Summary:
Design, develop, and verify integrated industrial product control systems compliant with all regulatory requirements for BCR's OEM wastewater treatment products and industrial products. Ensure successful integration into customer operational systems and facilities.
Applies knowledge and understanding of programming and troubleshooting plant controls processes and the equipment used to control those processes. Makes recommendations to improve the control of the processes or the processes themselves. Supports the maintenance of plant equipment to ensure a minimum of downtime.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design control systems hardware and software for industrial equipment products consisting of water treatment, solids separation and handling, thermal drying, solids conveyance, and chemical injection. Interface with motors, field instrumentation, analyzers, and SCADA, satisfying all customers function needs and requirements.
Using a systems engineering framework, identify all "stakeholders" interacting with a product over its lifecycle and analyze needs and requirements
Work with process, mechanical, and electrical engineers, and customer's system engineers to understand and optimize control designs that meet customer requirements

What You Will Do
Specification, installation, testing and repair of various types of electrical/electronic equipment used in the operation of Truck loading facilities and Pipeline pump stations.
Specify, install and program various types of PLC, flow computer and other metering and communication equipment, work on motors, valves/actuators, flow meters, transmitters and complete required documentation
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 4160 VAC
Read and interpret blueprints, understand and apply the National Electrical Code
Support daily pipeline and terminal operations as training and qualifications allow
Work with other technicians to support multiple facilities in Texas * Provide on-call rotational support for local area facilities
Document and manage maintenance activity and work orders utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Support and/or lead project team to ensure all aspects of the project are properly considered, including scope selection, safety, environmental, compliance, construction, operation, and reliability
Effectively communicate project status to various stakeholders within the organization
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Two (2) years or more of experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibrating industrial Instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, and level transmitters)
One (1) year or more of experience installing/maintaining flow computers, PLC, and communications equipment
Experience performing electrical troubleshooting of 480V AC voltage
Valid driver's license
Able to travel up to 20%

Working Environment:
This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting in awkward positions. The majority of the work schedule will be performed traveling to and working at various field locations within the service territory each day. The individual must be willing to work in all adverse and inclement weather conditions, including help with service restoration during storms. Overtime may be required at times of heavy workload.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or alarms related to the SCADA system or the electrical network
Coordinate with other operators, engineers, and technicians to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the SCADA system and the electrical distribution system
Report any incidents, faults, or deviations to the supervisor and document them in the SCADA system
Collect, analyze, and report the data and trends of the processes and systems using the SCADA system

Provide system wide load shedding upon request of transmission operator
Create substation, distribution, and transmission switching orders upon request in accordance with internal policies, procedures and programs
