To perform a variety of maintenance and repair work to automated and manual irrigation systems; to perform backflow prevention device testing; and to perform a variety of technical duties relative to assigned area of responsibility.Essential Functions:
1. Perform a variety of preventive maintenance and repair work on automatic and manually operated irrigation systems to assure proper operation.
2. Adjust and perform major and minor repairs on control clocks and sprinkler heads; maintain lines and sprinkler heads clear of debris; rebuild sprinklers, valves and related equipment.
3. Replace and perform major and minor repair on valves; repair and/or replace broken or leaking lines; trace and locate damaged wires.

5. Design and install irrigation systems for school grounds areas; read blueprints and sketches; ensure all work is conducted in accordance with guidelines.
6. Order and maintain inventory of parts and materials for sprinkler repair work.
7. Prepare and maintain records and reports related to daily work activities.
8. Operate District vehicles such as trucks, tractors and dump trucks.
9. Operate a variety of tools and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of irrigation systems including small hand tools.
10. Perform lead duties and assign work on various major projects requiring work direction and guidance as assigned.
11. Observe and implement proper safety practices; perform general clean-up at work site.
12. Respond to emergency calls for irrigation systems and repairs.
13. Perform related duties as assigned.
Experience and Training Guidelines
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible irrigation system maintenance and repair
Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in irrigation system maintenance and repair or a related field.
License or Certificate
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license.
* Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Limited Backflow Device Tester's Certificate within twelve months following date of employment and maintain license during course of employment.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for accounts payable and other general accounting and clerical functions and duties. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance, while providing essential, confidential support in timely payroll processing, expense reconciliation, and general ledger preparation to meet all critical departmental and year-end deadlines.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable
Responsible for weekly accounts payable processing, including data entry, scanning of invoices, mailing and ensuring proper coding of all invoices, check requests, and expense reimbursements, as per policy.
As the main point of contact for AP inquiries, manage the AP inbox and respond to employee questions and concerns.
Maintain accounts payable vendor files and complete weekly filing of payments.
Ensure vendor files include current W9; prepares and files annual 1099 reports.
Download necessary reports from the credit card vendor.
Coordinate and process credit card reports from employees; follow-up with employees as needed.
Prepare journal entry of credit card transactions for importing to General Ledger.
Distribute monthly budget to actual reports to budget managers.
Research and reconcile other general accounting tasks as requested and necessary to meet department reporting deadlines.
Provide general assistance with regard to clerical administration and other support needs, including general school community events and other related responsibilities.
Payroll
Assist Senior Accountant in processing payroll worksheets in payroll system (ADP).
Coordinate with the Human Resources Office to ensure that all pay changes and deductions are reflected appropriately in the payroll system.
Prepare all journal entries related to payroll and employee benefits.
Assist in preparation of W-2s at year end and workers' compensation audit.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting; AP experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Workspace; experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge a plus.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
Positions in this class assist the teacher and/or school nurse in meeting specified health needs of the student in the education, training, and supervision of severely handicapped and/or physically handicapped students. Incumbents perform a variety of duties both in and out of the classroom and play a major role in caring for the health and physical needs of the students. After training by the school nurse, incumbents must be capable of independently providing specialized physical health care procedures. Incumbent must utilize independent judgment in performing tasks and duties, which will vary according to the environment, and/or student needs; contact with students is continuous and often intense. Assignments may include working at more than one location and with multiple students requiring special health or physical care. Duties listed below are representative of this class but not all positions incorporate all tasks and duties will vary somewhat among positions.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Assists in training designated students in the basic academic and physical skills necessary to care for their individual needs. E
Adjusts specialized wheelchairs, lifts, braces, walkers or other orthopedic devices and positions or repositions students in same and remove/replace orthopedic braces/equipment. E
Diapers students and assist them in maintaining personal hygiene, disposes of catheterization bags, and assists/trains students in use of bathroom facilities; assists students in changing clothing or putting on garments; launders soiled clothing as needed; sets up food trays and hand-feeds; tummy tube feeds as required. Instructs in selected subjects for remedial, supplemental or enrichment purposes. E
Operates and assists students in use of audio?visual equipment and listening centers. E

Researches and prepares instructional, motivational, and other materials. E

Instructs students in use of standard kitchen utensils and appliances. E
Instructs students in use of small power tools for shop and garden use. E
Observes progress and behavior of students and confers with teacher(s) and other staff members accordingly. E
Performs routine clerical tasks, maintaining grade, attendance, and other records as required. E
Assists in the loading and unloading of students from buses and in the transferring of students to and from classroom and events. E
Lifts students using a "Hoyer" or similar lifting equipment. E

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

6. Observe and control behavior and interaction of students according to approved procedures.
7. Utilize positive restraint techniques according to established procedures as necessary if written in IEP, and after receiving required Nonviolent Conflict Intervention (NCI) training.
8. Assist Speech Language pathologist during assessment.
9. Consult with and advise educators or medical staff on speech or hearing topics such as communication strategies and speech and language stimulation.
10. Prepare therapy materials and/or equipment for use in classroom and therapy activities.
11. Adapt or modify instructional materials and/or equipment for teacher use in classroom, as determined by students' needs and abilities.
12. Assist in the teaching of students to control or strengthen tongue, jaw, face muscles, and breathing mechanisms.
13. Implement treatment plans for problems such as stuttering, delayed language, swallowing disorders, and inappropriate pitch or harsh voice problems, based on Speech Language Pathologist assessments and recommendations of physicians, psychologists, and social workers.

14. For positions designated bilingual, translates a variety for written materials from English to a second language and from that language into English; interprets and facilitates communication between staff and non-English speaking members of the public; attends various meetings to translate and interpret as needed;
