About the position:

Scope of Responsibility:
The Vice President of EHS is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the company's overall health, safety, and environmental strategy to ensure compliance, protect people and assets, and promote a proactive safety culture. Essential Duties:

Oversee EHS programs and policies for all manufacturing sites, warehouses, and field operations.
Leads a team of approximately 5 direct reports and 19 indirect reports across multiple business segments . The role provides strategic leadership and guidance to segment and site-level EHS professionals and ensures consistency of programs across all locations.
Partner with EHS team and plant leadership to identify and mitigate operational risks, reduce incident rates, and drive proactive safety initiatives.
Champion a culture of accountability and engagement in safety across all levels of the organization.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions and communication of lessons learned.
Establish EHS performance metrics (KPIs) and regularly report progress to the executive team and board.
Oversee environmental programs related to waste management, air and water quality, chemical storage, and energy efficiency.
