Position Overview
The Asset Management Analyst role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of financial statements, and a keen interest in commercial real estate-particularly net lease investments. This individual will work closely with the Vice President of Asset Management and the broader asset management and investment team to monitor property and tenant performance, maintain financial models, underwrite credit memos and support internal and external reporting.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Overland Park, Kansas.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze tenant financial statements to assess credit quality, trends, and risk; support valuation updates, hold/sell analyses, and sensitivity modeling
Track and evaluate property-level KPIs, including NOI, rent coverage, tenant credit metrics, and lease rollover exposure
Support day-to-day asset management activities for a national net lease portfolio, including monitoring tenant performance, rent collections, lease compliance, and key lease events
Build and maintain Excel-based property and portfolio cash flow models to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decision-making
Prepare recurring reports for management, investment committee, lenders, and investors with accurate financial and asset-level data
Assist with disposition underwriting, due diligence, and disposition tracking
Collaborate with acquisitions, accounting, and legal teams to ensure alignment across underwriting, accounting, and asset management assumptions
Support the onboarding of new acquisitions and provide ad hoc analysis related to refinancings, dispositions, and capital markets initiatives
Qualifications

BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the management of a designated loan portfolio typically consisting of large, complex commercial and mortgage loans, including loans participated/syndicated with other Farm Credit Associations or Commercial Banks. The Senior Risk Adjustment (RA) Analyst assists in the accurate and comprehensive data submission to regulatory entities such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for all risk adjustable populations. Position Summary:
This position supervises and implements the risk/needs assessment process for incoming residents across the state, ensuring quality assurance. supervising Assessment Specialists, and assisting in developing procedures and policies regarding risk/need assessments.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Develops, implements, monitors and supervises the completion of all necessary risk assessments (LSMCI for males, WRNA for females) statewide for incoming residents. When needed will conduct risk/needs assessments on residents throughout the state either at El Dorado Correctional Facility or remotely in cooperation with other state correctional facilities. Assists in developing policies, practices and procedures and tracking to identify who needs to be assessed, as an initial or update assessment; what instruments to use; and when and how in the RDU process the assessment is completed. Supervises Assessment Specialists at EDCF, LCF, TCF in the completion of the assessments including periodic travel to these locations.
Makes recommendations and assists Program Manager in developing and implementing tools and practices for fidelity and quality assurance systemwide including policy decisions. Ensures assessments are done with fidelity; with a thorough interview; with necessary collateral checks and research; with detailed notes reflecting the reasoning for the rating. Assist in creating procedures to ensures raters across the state participate in observation and feedback sessions and receive coaching necessary to build robust capacity for assessments, including statewide training development with boosters.
Involved in the Assessment Steering Committee to help direct the statewide work of assessments. Prepares reports as directed reflecting the strategic action plan for this work, and showing progress, updates, and recommendations for change, enhancements or future development of, policy, procedure and practice and input regarding training and training manuals.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of experience in planning, organizing and directing the work of a department, program or agency. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with major coursework in criminal justice, the social sciences, or the behavioral sciences, and six (6) months of experience working with offenders in corrections, parole, or law enforcement Or 60 semester hours of college credit, and one (1) year of experience working with programs serving offenders or other high risk/need population.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the management of a designated loan portfolio typically consisting of large, complex commercial and mortgage loans, including loans participated/syndicated with other Farm Credit Associations or Commercial Banks. Key industries of focus for this position include Dairy and Protein. Analyzes new loan applications and other loan servicing requests through the thorough analysis of financial statements and other pertinent credit information, and develops credit packages. The Senior Portfolio Analyst will assist the Relationship Manager in gathering the required information necessary to make appropriate credit decisions, and analyze credit and servicing requests from start to finish. Will serve as a secondary point of contact for the customer. This position will make recommendations on loan and servicing requests based on the Association's Loan Underwriting Standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Assists the Relationship Manager in the gathering of information necessary to make appropriate credit decisions. Able to call the customer directly for follow up questions on the application package submitted and lead additional conversations as needed.

Inputs all required financial information and data into the financial analysis, loan origination and other loan processing systems.
Makes approval recommendations on loan actions based on the Association's Loan Underwriting Standards while complying with regulatory requirements. Able to independently make approval recommendations on complex credits with limited oversight from organizational management. Participates in loan committee meetings as may be required.
Responsible for preparing information for Participation/Syndication partners as needed and participates in lender meetings as may be required.
Demonstrated analytical and statistical skills to effectively evaluate loan requests and make the appropriate independent opinion of credit worthiness of the applicant, aligned with the credit philosophy and risk appetite of the organization.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the management of a designated loan portfolio typically consisting of large, complex commercial and mortgage loans, including loans participated/syndicated with other Farm Credit Associations or Commercial Banks. Key industries of focus for this position include Dairy and Protein. Analyzes new loan applications and other loan servicing requests through the thorough analysis of financial statements and other pertinent credit information, and develops credit packages. The Senior Portfolio Analyst will assist the Relationship Manager in gathering the required information necessary to make appropriate credit decisions, and analyze credit and servicing requests from start to finish. Will serve as a secondary point of contact for the customer. This position will make recommendations on loan and servicing requests based on the Association's Loan Underwriting Standards. Responsible for the approval/denial of credit actions through either the utilization of assigned delegated authority or recommendation to a higher level of delegated authority.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* Assists the Relationship Manager in the gathering of information necessary to make appropriate credit decisions. This includes meeting with the customer and asking appropriate questions regarding the financial information submitted as well as all aspects of their operation. Able to call the customer directly for follow up questions on the application package submitted and lead additional conversations as needed.
