Experience with Nuclear Command & Control (NC2 / NC3) is required At least 5 years of experience in the following: Translating NC3 guidance and articulating interoperable capabilities utilizing national, DOD, and CJCS guidance with specific knowledge of: CJCS Emergency Action Procedures, USSTRATCOM Emergency Action Procedures; CJCS Instructions -(e.g. 6810.01, 6811.01, 3280.1, 3265.01,5119.1; CJCS OPORD 2CY; PPD-35; PPD-24; PPD-40; and DODI 5100.44). Working with US Government Interagency functions and processes; or experience analyzing and synthesizing multiple interagency products such as reports, meeting minutes, and speech transcripts in order to create requirements to support the mission, is desired. At least 2 years of experience in the following: Developing responses for Senior-level decision documentation at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, or DOD OSD levels; and staffing complex packages and adjudicating content. Participating in various key NC2 forums (e.g. Issues Working Group, Capabilities Integration Team, Senior Steering Group, Deputy's Management Action Group), or other (O-6 above) forums is allowed as an alternative (e.g. Issue working groups, Stakeholder working groups, Cyber, Functional Capabilities Boards, etc.) Project Overview: Provide Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) to support the NC3 Enterprise Center with the day-to-day responsibility for overseeing and managing NC3operations, maintaining enterprise-wide visibility, assessing comprehensive operational and technical risk, and, with the active NC3 Enterprise Stakeholder participation, developing, presenting, and advocating future capabilities, risk management options, and prioritization recommendations to the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff (CJCS) and Deputy Secretary of Defense (DepSecDef) on behalf of all NC3 Stakeholders. This position will perform fundamental analysis on a full spectrum of asset classes on both existing and potential investments. Make investment recommendations to align portfolios to parameters identified by registered representatives. This position develops and maintains relationships with both internal and external parties. Help to present, market, and positively position Ameritas Investment Partners managed programs to registered representatives and their clients. This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home. What you do: * Analyze existing and potential portfolios including mutual funds, stocks, bonds, ETF's, etc. * Engage in portfolio management and model management with both a retail and institutional mindset * Perform securities analysis across the spectrum of asset classes * Maintain effective dialogue with portfolio managers, internal partners, and external field registered representatives * Assist in performing special investment or reporting projects as needed * Assist in client reporting as needed * Meet with representatives and clients face to face and present investment concepts in a professional manner What you bring: * Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study (such as Finance) required. * 2 years of relevant securities analysis and/or portfolio management experience preferred. * Progress toward or active pursuit of CFA or CFP designation required. * FINRA series 7 and the series 63/65 or 66 preferred.
