ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Have oversight of assessing need for additional provider networks in collaboration with management given new clinical/social needs and ongoing revisions to the Population Health Strategy.
Identify and vet potential post-acute service providers
Participates in hospital committees and unit specific multidisciplinary conferences as well as staff meetings for the Care Management Department
Models leadership and promotes professionalism to assist staff in developing priority setting, team work, and flexibility in support of the Care Management team and in community health activities.
Holds clinical and non-clinical staff accountable for the performing initial assessments, identifying and documenting a discharge plan, and collaborating with the work team to ensure a safe patient discharge under the scope and standards for ACMA & CMSA standards.
Responsible for the hiring process and identifying and recommending staffing needs with skill mix as appropriate to meet needs of the population.
Manages payroll in Kronos; monitors overtime as well as attendance related to HR policy for time & attendance.
Oversee a mix of clinical, operational and business projects including but not limited to ones used reduce readmissions, improve transportation services such as ambulance services, and other clinical services
Work closely with and in partnership with ED Care Coordinators, ED Care Managers, Social Work, Transitional Care Navigator staff, and clinical staff to ensure that patients care transitions from MLK entities to post-acute network providers are seamless.
Establish and monitor management metrics: quality, outcomes, productivity of staff work, financial, case volume/mix and provides scheduled reporting to the Director of Care Management.
Design and coordinate formal and informal training for staff and providers regarding post-acute services care management services, and oversees the clinical education program executed by the Care Management Educator.
Systematically and continuously evaluate and address internal and external customer concerns/ grievances
Collaborates and coordinates services and joint meetings with Los Angeles County Department of Health Services Outpatient Clinic staff
Collaborates and coordinates functional programs with MLKCH outpatient clinics to ensure smooth transitions to community healthcare for MLKCH patients.
Collaborates with other Care Management Leadership to ensure adequate staffing and scheduling to support the functions of the transitional care team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A. Education
Bachelor degree in nursing required or Master's Degree in Social Worker with LCSW required.
B. Qualifications/Experience
RN Candidates must have five (5) years acute care hospital, health plan, and/or ancillary services required.
Candidate's with LCSW, must have 7 years of experience in acute care hospital, health plan, and/or ancillary services required.
Prior Supervisory or Management Experience in a clinical role required.
RN license required or LCSW required
CCM or ACM certification required within 2 years of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Workplace violence prevention annually.
Direct patient care or care coordination, utilization, case/disease management experience a plus

Must have strong loan portfolio management experience.
Must possess strong loan negotiation (rates, terms, collateral requirements) experience.

About this Role:
Consertus is seeking to connect with experienced professionals in riskmanagement. These roles are expected to support various client programs located in Los Angeles and may involve work in one or more of the following sectors:
Rail and Transit Infrastructure
Airport Modernization Projects
Utility Capital Programs
K-12 and Higher Education Facilities
As a Senior RiskManager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of enterprise and project-level riskmanagement strategies. You will facilitate risk workshops, managerisk registers, and lead quantitative risk analyses to support successful outcomes for large capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive riskmanagement plans across complex infrastructure programs.
Facilitate qualitative and quantitative risk assessments (including Monte Carlo simulations).
Collaborate with project teams in integrating risk into baseline cost and schedule forecasts.
Maintain risk registers, track mitigation strategies, and ensure timely reporting.
Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and executive briefings for internal and client stakeholders.
Support audits, change management, and contingency planning procedures.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of relevant professional experience in riskmanagement or project controls.
6+ years managingrisk on large capital projects or enterprise-level programs.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and riskmanagement tools (e.g., Excel modeling, dashboards).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with public agencies such as LA Metro, LAWA, FTA, WMATA, PG&E, or K-12/Community College Districts.
Familiarity with sector-specific processes (i.e., school bond programs, FAA/airport reporting, oil & gas operations).
Professional certifications (PMI-RMP , AACE-DRMP, ISO 31000, etc.).
Expertise with Deltek Acumen Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, or Safran Risk.
Working Hours: Standard business hours, with flexibility for critical milestones and site travel. Full-time, Exempt.
Compensation Range: $129,854 - $200,000 annually
and eligible for an annual bonus per company program.

Responsibilities include regular interaction with international and U.S.-based brokers and underwriters, and assist in maintaining and strengthening relationships with external producing partners. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, including Physical Production, Production Finance, Legal, Health & Safety, Security and Post Production teams, as well as the Corporate RiskManagement team.
Key job responsibilities
• Interpret insurance policy provisions and provide ongoing support on contractual terms and conditions and application of coverage.
• Gather, analyze, and prepare information for underwriting submission information and applications for insurance policy renewals.
• Evaluate insurance policy quotes and negotiate coverage and pricing for special coverage with insurance brokers, providing recommendations to production teams and manager.
• Review insurance binders, policies, endorsements, invoices and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Review Cast coverage regularly for all assigned productions to ensure full coverage.
• Involvement in broker relationships in conjunction with Production, Legal, Finance and RiskManagement teams to ensure adequate servicing and SLA's.
• Collaborate with insurance brokers to manage ongoing production risk, insurance, and services provided by our network of brokers.
• Identify, communicate and champion loss prevention and mitigation, and source improvement opportunities.
• Review, analyze and provide feedback on production contracts including locations, equipment and independent contractors / service providers.
• Communicate regularly with internal production executives for all ongoing insurance-related needs.
• in addition to traditional riskmanagement workflows, and ideal candidate will be able to lean into emerging technologies to explore opportunities to leverage workflow optimization.
• Excel as part of a small team in a fast paced environment in support of our global slate.
A day in the life
The Amazon MGM Studios RiskManagement team supports global production for all genres of production including Movies, Scripted Series, and Unscripted Series. We collaborate with production teams around the world to assess insurance needs, place necessary coverage and mitigate risk.
- Experience as a producer, production manager, line producer or in production riskmanagement
- Experience working for an entertainment agency, studio, or organization
- Knowledge of location specific production guidelines and procedures
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience with international feature film and television production insurance
- Strong knowledge and experience in all forms of unscripted television (e.g. competition, documentary, music, variety) across all budget levels.
- Knowledge of production health and safety practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
