Responsibilities
● Conducting comprehensive cyber risk assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts on the organization, leveraging qualitative and quantitative (e.g. FAIR) methods as applicable.
● Run the day to day operation of the Security Policy Exception process, aligned to Security processes and GRC risk mapping
● Maintaining a detailed Cyber risk register to prioritize and manage cyber risks effectively.
● Communicating and articulating cyber risks to both technical and business stakeholders, providing clear and actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.
● Coordinating cross functional dependencies to drive attention to and agreement on the creation of mitigation strategies.
● Collaborate with the Internal Audit, Compliance and internal Security teams to integrate cyber risk management practices into the overall risk management framework.
● Utilize the MITRE ATTACK framework to understand adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization's security posture.
Minimum Qualifications
● Must have 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk management, with a focus on risk assessments, risk quantification, and threat modeling.
● Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
● Must be proficient in CSA, CIS, NIST 800 53 or similar standards
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex cyber risks to both technical and business audiences effectively.
● Demonstrate a process-oriented and results-driven approach to security risk management, employing effective problem-solving skills to serve as a subject matter expert
Preferred Qualifications
● Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, FAIR or similar are highly desirable.
● Experience in the technology industry, with a deep understanding of its unique cybersecurity challenges and requirements.
● Prior experience leading Compliance or Cyber risk management functions.
● Masters degree preferred.
● Applied experience with quantitative risk analysis (e.g., FAIR, FAIR-CAM, Monte Carlo

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $100,300.00 to $233,200.00 per year. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Role Overview
The ID.me security team is looking for a proven Staff Third Party Risk Manager. This person will help drive and implement the risk management practices to maintain rigor over supply chain security operations. Activities include roadmap design, control design, assessment operations, and key metrics. Collaborates with administrators, faculty, and staff to annually review, test, and update continuity plans to maintain functional operation during or following disruptive events, as well as provide updates to the University Business Continuity Summary Plan.
As necessary, provide training on the continuity software and provide tabletop or other exercises to test plan readiness by unit and/or department.
Additionally, designs, builds, and implements standard risk assessments, business impact analysis, and other business continuity tools and capabilities.
Maintains effective, collaborative, and proactive relationships with local, state and federal emergency response agencies, as well as other college and university emergency management departments.
Security
Develop, monitor, and evaluate the University-wide security program utilizing contracted security services to ensure the protection of SMU assets, staff, faculty, students, and visitors.
Develops, enforces, and reviews University security policies and procedures and ensures the staff, students, and faculty are informed of said policies and procedures.
Oversees and implements the University's access control and camera systems.
Annually prepares and submits The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
Maintains effective, collaborative, and proactive relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as other college and university security and law enforcement departments.
Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S):
In coordination with contracted EH&S vendor, develops, maintains, and communicates health and safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with the Office of People and Culture and other departments to ensure the effective implementation of health and safety programs.
Perform periodic inspections of workplace facilities to detect fire and life safety hazards and conditions. Make recommendations for corrective measures.
Perform job safety analysis and recommend safety equipment, and safe work procedures, and communicate with departments to achieve safety excellence.
Conduct investigations into employee inquiries, suggestions, and complaints regarding workplace health and safety issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local fire, safety, environmental, and health regulations and procedures.
Stay informed of developments in relevant fields, including legislative trends.
Maintain records, as needed, for University compliance with safety and environmental laws.
Serves as campus liaison with city, state, and federal regulators, including inspectors, engineers, source control, and enforcement personnel.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
This role operates in a matrix environment within the drug safety function and cross-functionally with other departments. Responsibilities for this position include:
Perform medical review of ICSRs for assigned product(s) in clinical development or for marketed products
Ensure that ICSRs contain accurate medical content through appropriate querying and obtained source data verification.
Collaborate closely with Drug Safety staff providing medical expertise and guidance for proper gathering, evaluation, medical assessment, and follow-up of ICSRs.
