Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) required.
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; candidate must be barred in the state in which they reside.
8+ years of legal experience, with required experience advising pharmaceutical or life sciences clients; in-house pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act.
Experience advising on pharmaceutical advertising and promotion principles.
Experience with state price reporting and/or privacy matters preferred.
Proven ability to counsel clients effectively and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and execute complex projects to successful completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for driving 401(k) participation with new and existing clients:
Reviews client detail and early assessment of client needs with the New Business Associates, Relationship Management Associates, Sales Associates and studying client plan specifications.
Ed Specialists acts as consultant to FA/Client in confirming and determining the meeting needs .
Responsible for soliciting rollover assets from meeting participants.
Maintain FINRA licensing requirements and continuing education. Need to maintain a high level of knowledge of investing and mutual funds.
Schedule all client meetings in multi-region territories. Attend pre-implementation visits as required.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of all retirement services product lines including alliance partners. Stays current on new and existing 401(k) legislation.
Schedules and conducts 10 meetings per week:
Must maintain productivity by managing their schedules based on geography.
Must maintain productivity by moving to outside territories when their territory is slow.
Maintain and verify reporting on client meeting, participation and rollover metrics.
Help mentor and train junior associates.

Under general direction, is responsible for professional correctional counseling work of average difficulty and related work as required. This is the working level class in the Correctional Counselor sub-series. An employee in this class supervises a caseload of incarcerated offenders inside a correctional facility. This class is flexibly staffed with and differs from the Correctional Counselor 1 in that an incumbent of the latter performs entry-level work. This class differs from the Correctional Counselor 3 in that an incumbent of the latter is responsible for leading and supervising others in counseling work.
Responsibilities
1. Calculates sentencing information to determine accuracy of an offender s sentence computation.
2. Verifies that offender sentencing complies with judgment order.
3. Completes classification/reclassification and/or risk-needs assessments for offenders.
4. Prepares reports on offender history, progress, adjustment, rule violations, visitation, recommendations for special visits, and other related statistics.
5. Evaluates all offender records, case notes, and information to ensure compliance with all applicable standards, laws, policies, rules, and regulations while under the guidance of a higher ranking Correctional Counselor.
6. Conducts and/or monitors Prison Rape Elimination Act screenings to determine potential victim or aggressor status.
7. Monitors environment to identify security related concerns in order to assure continued safety of facility.
8. Identifies appropriate intervention techniques to deal with offender behavioral issues.
9. Assists offenders in addressing concerns regarding job pay, trust fund, sentence information, and educational needs and programs and with communicating with outside agencies to expedite release plans or respond to emergencies.
10. Schedules outside services to assist with offender transition from prison to the community.
11. Develops and collaborates reentry plans with re-entry Counselor for offenders within established time frames and in accordance with departmental procedures.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Policy Counsel will play a central role in shaping and implementing ADL's local, state and national legislative and policy agenda using evidence-based legal approaches and tactics. As a legal, legislative, and policy subject matter expert on ADL's national advocacy priorities, the Policy Counsel will work in close coordination with external experts and ADL's national and regional teams to ensure that the policy and advocacy approaches ADL supports are legally sound, effective, and impactful.
Responsibilities
Primary:
Lead the development and implementation of legal and policy strategies in pursuit of ADL policy priorities, consistent with ADL research.
Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments that affect the safety of the Jewish community.
Partner with ADL's national and regional teams, including COE, CAR, the federal affairs team, the state and local advocacy team, regional offices, the litigation team, and other experts to provide real-time policy responses to incidents and trends.
Draft legislation, regulations, memoranda, position papers, public comments, and advocacy materials.
Collaborate with national security, law enforcement, and civil society partners to shape effective, constitutionally informed responses to threats.
Serve as a spokesperson or expert representative in public fora, during legislative briefings, and through media engagements as appropriate.
