PURPOSE
Rite-Hite is seeking a Quality Manager to build and maintain a robust quality management system. In this role, you will develop a problem-solving approach to address daily quality concerns at our Horn Lake, MS facility. You will be preparing the location for ISO-compliant business systems and drive operational excellence principles across all functions to support continuous improvement in processes and performance metrics.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages 6-12 direct reports. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit of the business. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance via the development of measurable objectives; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Six sigma certification or equivalent problem-solving experience is required.

Responsible for designing and creating safe and efficient electrical/control products. Responsibilities: * Modifies electrical diagrams and creates new electrical controls system designs for prototype and determines the specifications for each component.
* Makes changes to ECAT table and tests for new control modules.
* Reads schematics for designs and makes change recommendations.
* Collaborates with other designers and engineers to ensure that the electrical system designs integrate seamlessly with other systems.
* Establishes procedures for testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
* Tests and troubleshoots electrical/controls products to ensure they are functioning properly and are safe for use.
* Works with engineering and operations to implement engineering change notices (ECN).
* Coordinates with electrical engineers and others to deviate/approve part shortages and to build test fixtures and prototypes.
* Creates cost estimates for the electrical/controls products including cost of material, labor, and equipment.
* Stays up to date with local and national electrical codes and regulations to ensure that designs meet safety standards.
Education:
* Bachelor's in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
* Five years industry experience or an associate degree and 10 years industry experience.

Executes routine welding tasks on HVAC units.
Ability to set up and maintain welding machine (tip, liner, changes, etc.) and weld vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter.
Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required.
Grind and clean areas where required.

The PM is also asked to support the sales team, senior project managers and regional manager during the front-end sales process to ensure a seamless transition from quote into execution. This role could require up to 25% travel.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. What you'll do:
The purpose of this position is to provide project management expertise in electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical aspects of large Turnkey Electrical Projects.
