Clint Smith is a solutions-focused Senior Technologist with success in wireless telecom and engineering management. His broad areas of expertise include product development, technology management, software design, innovation, due diligence, mobile devices, and tech company start-ups. His recent technical focus has been on cybersecurity for 5G wireless and IoT devices.As CTO with Rivada Networks since 2012 he has built and led the engineering product and software team. Some of the accomplishments include designing, coding and operationalizing a location algorithm using crowd sourcing for 3D position in buildings. Conceptualized, designed and implemented a 5G/LTE neutral host platform (pre-CUPS) that was integrated with Ericsson. Developed a distributed cloud design spanning diverse domains using open stack (OPNFV). Established an LTE system in a box using the OAI-EPC and software defined radios (SDR) for public safety. Presently he has earned over 145 patents with more than 125 additional patents applied for. He is also the author of 9 wireless engineering books published by McGraw-Hill.Clint holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT) and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickson University. He is a licensed professional engineer in NY and NJ and has also been an Adjunct Professor at SIT since 2002. He is also an active Volunteer Firefighter.

Finance and Operations leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications, media and technology industries. Proven leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial skills leading several multinational start-up organizations from go-to-market planning and design to implementation and post-launch operations. Extensive experience scaling teams, processes and systems utilizing various SDLC methodologies focusing on constant process improvement. Responsibilities have included treasury operations, long range planning, reporting and analysis, program management, budgeting, business processes and sales operations reporting.

Before joining Rivada, Doug served as Vice President of Corporate Development for Sprint Corporation. In this role, Doug had primary responsibility for driving and executing Sprint’s overall business strategy through merger and acquisition efforts and/or creation of strategic alliances and partnerships. Doug also led the integration efforts for Sprint in its merger with T-Mobile.

Francis is a founding member of Rivada Networks and has over 20 years’ experience in technology planning and operations. Francis has been a part of Declan Ganley’s management team for over 14 years. Previously, Francis worked with Accenture in their High Tech Strategy practice in London.

Peter Cramton is Professor of Economics at the University of Cologne and the University of Maryland (Emeritus since 2018). Since 1983, he has conducted research on auctions and market design, with a focus on the design of complex markets to best achieve goals. Applications include electricity markets, financial markets, and auctions for radio spectrum. He has introduced innovative market designs in many industries. Cramton has advised numerous governments on market design and dozens of bidders in major auctions. He is chief economist and advisor for startups in finance, insurance, and communications. From 2015-2021, he was an independent director of the board of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). He received his B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University and his Ph.D. in Business from Stanford University.
