Bob Agnes is Chief Product and Strategy Officer for Riverbed Technology. In his role as a member of the Executive Leadership team he is responsible leading development of Riverbed’s strategy and realization of the strategy through execution of the product roadmap. He leads engineering, product management, manufacturing and product operations. Agnes is a leader in business transformation, digital transformation and utilizing cloud technologies to change the way enterprises and people communicate and collaborate. Prior to joining Riverbed in 2020, Agnes held various executive leadership roles running within the technology and communication sectors, most recently at Mitel where he served as President and General Manager leading the $1.3B communication and collaboration business. He was responsible for Mitel Strategy, R&D, Product Management, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Global Services. Previous roles include Senior Vice President Marketing & President of Asia for PartMiner Worldwide Inc., Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing for X-Rite and various executive leadership roles at Tektronix, Inc. Agnes holds an MBA from George Fox University and a B.S.C.S. in Software Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Sekhar Kancherlapalli is CIO of Riverbed Technology, overseeing all IT functions and operations, and is focused on leading and furthering the company’s cloud and digital initiatives. Kancherlapalli is a software and IT executive with 20+ years of experience in architecture, leadership, development, consulting, and strategic planning. His career has focused on product development and IT management for companies in the high-tech, insurance, financial, and healthcare services industries. Kancherlapalli is adept at developing and communicating strategy/roadmaps, standards, policies, and governance processes with a proven track record of running complex IT projects, providing innovative solutions, and developing business capability aligned strategies.

Prior to joining Riverbed, Kancherlapalli was an Enterprise Cloud Architect at Oracle, where he bridged the gap between business and technology with a deep understanding of applications, industry best practices, business processes, and architectural patterns to drive IT transformation initiatives. At Oracle, he helped support 40+ Fortune 100 companies with a digital / cloud transformation strategy. Previous roles include Chief Enterprise Architect at Unom Group and Vice President of Architecture at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he led a team of architects for the global organization in 19 countries.
