In this part-time role, you will support Riverside's Marketing & Communications team with hands-on design projects, content creation, and event support that showcase our services and celebrate the people we serve and employ. You will collaborate with thoughtful, professional, and passionate colleagues in a supportive, mission-driven environment where your work has a direct impact on individuals, families, and communities.
In this important role, the Design & Marketing Assistant will:
Design flyers, social media graphics, invitations, programs, PowerPoints, brochures, annual report and newsletter templates, print ads, digital signage, and other collateral, primarily using Canva.
Help develop, refine, and uphold Riverside's visual brand across the organization so materials are consistent, professional, and engaging.
Produce graphics for regular social media posts and create occasional reels that highlight Riverside stories, services, and events.
Manage and fulfill Riverside-branded merchandise requests with established vendors, ensuring timely, accurate orders.
Oversee the biannual Riverside-branded merchandise pop-up store, focusing on a smooth customer experience and strong engagement.
Assist with selecting artwork and overseeing placement and installation in existing Riverside facilities to support welcoming, inclusive spaces.
Assist with building signage, including coordinating placement and installation at existing Riverside locations.
Support events by ordering food and décor, assisting with general set up, and helping create a warm, professional atmosphere for attendees.
Process and manage monthly credit card reconciliations related to marketing and events.
Schedule: 3 days each week; 9 am to 5 pm with some flexibility with one in-office day required each week in Dedham
Rate: $22.00/hour

The Care Coordinator facilitates care planning and coordination of services for youth, with serious emotional disturbance (SED), under the age of 21. Services and supports, which are guided by the needs of the youth, are developed through a Wraparound planning process that results in an individualized and flexible plan of care for the youth and family. Duties and Responsibilities:
Submit detailed progress notes that follow federal, state, and agency requirements.
Conduct comprehensive home-based assessments and behavioral health assessments inclusive of the age appropriate version of the Massachusetts Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) that occurs in the youth's home or another location of the family's choice.
Maintain a caseload of 11-14 families.
Oversees the assembly of the Care Planning Team, and guides the development of an Individual Care Plan and a risk management/safety plan.
Monitors the provision and quality of services provided to the family and is the liaison when new services/resources are needed to be sought or developed.
Provides or arranges for transportation for clients to appointments, crisis/respite services, etc. if needed.
Provides or secures support and crisis/emergency services for the youth/family.
Collaborates with other necessary individuals the youth and family may have contact with, in order to properly coordinate care.
Identifies community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain achievement of the youth's individual care plan, goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Experience Required: 1 year.

Job Summary:
The Care Coordinator facilitates care planning and coordination of services for youth, with serious emotional disturbance (SED), under the age of 21. Care Coordinators ensure that necessary services are accessed, coordinated, and delivered in a strength-based, individualized, family/youth-driven, and ethnically, culturally, and linguistically relevant manner. Services and supports, which are guided by the needs of the youth, are developed through a Wraparound planning process that results in an individualized and flexible plan of care for the youth and family. When providing care coordination, the Care Coordinator and a Family Partner work together with youth and their family while maintaining their distinct functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Submit detailed progress notes that follow federal, state, and agency requirements.
Conduct comprehensive home-based assessments and behavioral health assessments inclusive of the age appropriate version of the Massachusetts Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) that occurs in the youth's home or another location of the family's choice.
Maintain a caseload of 11-14 families.
Oversees the assembly of the Care Planning Team, and guides the development of an Individual Care Plan and a risk management/safety plan.
Monitors the provision and quality of services provided to the family and is the liaison when new services/resources are needed to be sought or developed.
Provides or arranges for transportation for clients to appointments, crisis/respite services, etc. if needed.
Provides or secures support and crisis/emergency services for the youth/family.
Collaborates with other necessary individuals the youth and family may have contact with, in order to properly coordinate care.
Identifies community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/caregiver(s) to support and sustain achievement of the youth's individual care plan, goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Experience Required: 1 year.

If applicable to role within the PRSC, Meet, collaborate, coordinate support services and attend appointments with recoverees for probation, parole, employment and educational agencies, Department of Children and Families (DCF), human services providers, medical and primary care, clinical mental/behavioral health, family support, etc.
Link recoverees to services provided by community-based organizations such as peer support groups, legal services, nutritional counseling, and HIV rapid retesting and Hepatitis B and C testing.
Provide recoveree education in finances, housing stability, behavioral and primary health, life skills and all aspects of addiction and related life domains.
Provide crisis intervention by assessing severity of the episode, de-escalating the recoveree, referring to emergency response team as needed, and developing a safety plan to assist in resolving the crisis.
Exemplify recovery principles and set an example that recovery is attainable.
Ability to climb at least three flights of stairs.
Ability to respond to emergency situations by placing calls to Fire, Rescue, Police, and Medical, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, reasonable exceptions may be made in certain situations.
Must have lived experience and 2 years acknowledged continuous sobriety
Experience and knowledge regarding the addiction treatment service system.
Must have successfully participated in recovery coach academy
Eligible to be a certified recovery coach
Experience with adults diagnosed with a substance use disorder
