Seeking Bachelor level interns to join our team as a Community Based Social Work Intern currently pursuing their degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred!
This internship offers a diverse experience working in our Behavioral Health Community Partnership program (BH CP) working alongside Care Coordinators and people served. You will have the opportunity to work directly with consumers ages 18+ as well as having the opportunity to be a part of a growing team advocating for integration between physical and behavioral health services for our consumers in and around the Greater Boston and suburban areas.
This position involves traveling with consumers and working with them in the community.
Schedule: Flexible Mon-Fri (16-24 hours per week)
Please note that this internship is unpaid.
As an Engagement Specialist Intern, you will:
Work alongside consumers to help assist them with accessing community based resources
Participate in staff meetings
Work with a minimum of 3-4 consumers per week at a community-based location or at a Riverside site
Be responsible for documenting interventions with consumers and organizing related paperwork
Have access to additional free training's at Riverside Community Care and from our community partners
Mileage will be reimbursed at a competitive rate

The student will be immersed in an active research environment and will interact with diverse scientists both within the Gribble Laboratory and throughout the Marine Biological Laboratory. The Research Internship is available only to students currently enrolled at a 2-year community college.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
