The Respite Counselor will provide guidance, education, supervision, and direct supports to allow consumers to maintain their physical and emotional health, live safely in the community and develop the skills necessary to return to independent living. Interactions between staff and consumers will be guided by an appreciation for those being served as unique individuals and adults, with the expectation and goal of crisis or situational stabilization. The Respite programs provide both short and long-term care for persons experiencing mental health, substance use disorder, and co-occurring disorders who might otherwise require treatment in an inpatient setting and would benefit from structured stabilization, support, care coordination, and treatment planning. Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours Monday through Friday, 11pm to 7am Pay Rate: $21.21/hour High School Diploma $22.27/hour with a Bachelor's Degree plus an additional $2/hourly for working the Awake Overnight Shift! Staff may be called during non-scheduled times to ask if they are interested in providing additional hours to a home. The Floating ITC will be connected to the mobile team office and supervised by the Clinical Director. They will demonstrate a knowledge and expertise in the various systems across the GLE programs and mobile team in order to seamlessly work out of any ACCS program, based on the needs of the programs at any given time. They will demonstrate flexibility in coverage day to day, and week to week, and utilize best practices in order to provide the best quality care to the people we serve in all ACCS programs. This position is a Friday through Sunday position only and hours will vary based on the needs of the program. Interactions will be guided by an appreciation for those being served as unique individuals and adults, with the expectation and goal of mutual learning and growth. Services will be provided in keeping with the CLS Division Mission Statement, program policies and guidelines and consistent with Riverside and Department of Mental Health standards and requirements. Staff may be called during non-scheduled times to ask if they are interested in providing additional hours to a home. The Floating ITC will be connected to the mobile team office and supervised by the Clinical Director. They will demonstrate a knowledge and expertise in the various systems across the GLE programs and mobile team in order to seamlessly work out of any ACCS program, based on the needs of the programs at any given time. They will demonstrate flexibility in coverage day to day, and week to week, and utilize best practices in order to provide the best quality care to the people we serve in all ACCS programs. This position is a Friday through Sunday position only and hours will vary based on the needs of the program.
